It's difficult to assess the play of big men in high school because quite often they are such a mismatch for their opposition. Particularly in Canada where the competition tends to be weaker. Look at the highlights from Chol in highschool. He takes tons of mid range shots and even 3 pointers. One could easily take a look at these and say he puts college Chol to shame. Well, high school Chol isn't playing against a team comprised of D1 athletes. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_aZ4s_mbMUCollege players have to learn to effectively trim their arsenal of offensive moves because they can't get away with the things they used to in high school. We have no idea what this guy is capable of at the Division 1 level. So before we anoint him as head and shoulders better than Sky and Chol we might want to see how he plays in his first semester of D1 ball.

Will be interesting to hear if he is coming to the 3/7 game ? He seems athletic , good hands , and made some FT's.

Pretty sure he plays in Indiana which has some of the best HS competition, but I agree with your overall point.

We need two bigs and have no confirmations yet. Cage, Standback, Kone, Collins, Narain? All are quality players, hate the haters who just want to hate. Size and skill + potential is what we are about. Structure and support to develop players.

He's on his way to San Diego today. It should be a great weekend to visit San Diego - especially considering Narain is coming from Indiana, where today it will reach a high of 16 degrees.
