Hope he beats the disease but guy comes off as a punk. Kinda punky, true, and daddy was a big time NBA player, so that's probably some learned behavior. The disease itself - for some - can go into a state remission with treatment, but like its cousin, colitis, Crohn's never truly goes away. Many who suffer with it, though, can effectively manage it. Flare ups are uncontrollable, and can strike at just about any time - and without warning. So I have a lot of respect guys like Rolf and now Nance because they're able to work through the cards they've been dealt without letting that hand beat them down. Chronic conditions like these have got to wear a person down emotionally and physically. There's just never a vacation day from it, and even if you're in a period of remission, you never know when it'll knock you on your AZZZtec again.

I thought the OP was talking about the "best player in the MW". I didn't realize he was talking about butt-hurt crybaby Nance who will end up in the China league if he's lucky.

Will The Show go there come Feb. 11? Hmmmm... Probably along the lines of: "Larry Nance Uses Performance Enhancing Drugs!!!"

We have our share of assholes on here who will never get it. I wouldn't be that surprised to hear a chant about Nance's disease. Some ASU students once taunted Steve Kerr at the free throw line for Arizona with "PLO PLO" just a few weeks after his dad was murdered in Beirut. It's all about life experience and age. I am not alone in having had to watch your own kid in ICU, not knowing if they were going to make it (she did) or not. It's about perspective, and some young, dumb people just don't have any...... yet (its coming)!

I hope not. That is what Rolf Benirschke suffered when he was a Charger. Almost killed him A very serious disease. So is mono. Just sayin Mono v. Chron's not even close. When a dose of mono has ended, it is gone.

Mono v. Chron's not even close. When a dose of mono has ended, it is gone. So what you're implying is that there is a well defined criteria on which illnesses can be made fun of.

So what you're implying is that there is a well defined criteria on which illnesses can be made fun of. from www.ccfa.org/what-are-crohns-and-colitis/what-is-crohns-disease/The causes of Crohn’s Disease are not well understood. Diet and stress may aggravate Crohn’s Disease, but they do not cause the disease on their own. Recent research suggests hereditary, genetics, and/or environmental factors contribute to the development of Crohn’s Disease. You get mono from personal interaction. Chron's is most likely hereditary and/or genetic. I'd think that reasonable people could see the difference. Then again, some around here are not reasonable.

Do you think we play an uptempo game? Besides that tweet was from mid November. I guess you had to do some deep research to find that.

So you're implying that a person with HIV that contracted it via personal interaction can be heckled since it wasn't a hereditary condition.

I think he stated that Bairstow got snubbed when X won MWC Player of the Year. Stuff like that. He thinks highly of his team, and he's kinda entitled to do so. I think we as Aztecs fans know what Wyoming REALLY brings to the table though. I'm not touching his disease he's enduring. That's serious stuff. BUT...doesn't mean I can't like him, and I don't. And he's a defensive liability for his team. Lol.

And, we only played them once last year and I don't remember if had already been injured, As for your comment on the disease, I agree 100%

The same rationale you used for mono applies to the person with HIV, so yes you wrote yes, I did not. What is you purpose with this query anyway. I hope it isn't that it would be OK for the Show to attack someone with HIV, which is what it seems.

Just pointing out that by your own rationale stated earlier in this thread, HIV would really be no different than mono, and we all know that's been used as fodder before.
