I don't follow our football team that much, what's the highest rated recruit we've ever gotten? Lynell Hamilton We've had a handful of 4 star JC guys dating back to 2002, but Tezino is only the 3rd high school 4 star we have signed dating back to 2002.

His daughter Kelsey is one HELL of a basketball player though. Number three scorer in the nation last I checked (out of U of Washington).

Coach Horton will be on Go Aztecs at 11 and Rocky at 1
Also per coach Gonzales the TE we signed was visiting last weekend , he is now up to 295 lbs . but can still run and catch the ball

SJSU is putting together a great class too. They signed a 4 star wr. The guy was a 4 star this morning, and after he signed with SJSU, Rivals downgraded him to a 3 star lol

Tezino's LOI is official. We should be about done I think, looking at the numbers. Love the class though. Watched some tape of Jeff Clay, I think he's an underrated kid. Good mix of positions, now time to coach them up.

Just to refresh the memories - Tezino had offers including UCLA, Miami, Wisconsin, Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Washington, Utah and others. Big cherry on top! This is SO huge!!! GREAT news & a great kid. Kid is going to have a BRIGHT future.
My only concern (& maybe this is just paranoia) is eligibility? Did he drop from WSU/UCLA/Cal due to academics, or do to wanting to stay in So-Cal (& UCLA was full) Hoping it's due to the fact SDSU is known to produce & feature LBs.
Either way, this kid is a stud.
Looking like an AWESOME class. Can't wait to see the final class rankings. Can't help but think we'll be #2 in the MW & among top 8 among non-P5 schools, and even ahead of a few P5's.

We're currently 2nd behind San Jose State and ahead of Boise. I'd argue (somewhat biased obviously) that some of our kids should be bumped up a star here and there - But it makes no difference, just prove it on the field.

Is SJSU based solely on #'s, or is their average score actually higher? Scout had us #3 in MW (BSU, SJSU) but that hadn't been updated today, given the 4-star addition, etc. Plus, SJSU was based on 28 commits (vs. our 25).

Not anywhere close. Us and SJSU are about even, and you can give advantages to one and another based on certain criteria. But, boise is very far ahead. But it really is hard to say right now. Not all the sources have their commitments and ranking updated yet.

I was using Rivals, but it's obviously a fluid process and the rankings will change throughout today.

Details? The Real Oracle Out Oregon took him to a strip club if I recall correctly. The Ducks offered Hamilton weed and took him to a strip club. To a God fearing family, a big no-no. Oldie Out
