One part of our game which I detest is our lack of assists on breakaways...Last night Shrigley had Polee for an obvious ally oop and he instead took it to the basket himself and missed I believe. Polee was PISSED!!! This has happened so many times and it's got to stop. Hell, our lack of assists OVERALL is pretty woeful.

Aztec fans who boo Aztec Players should just stay at home and boo their own shortcomings. Really, what a bunch of hypocrites.

Because quinn has played well he has earned a starting roll. jj has played poorly in many games, winston had a couple horrible games, kell is hit and miss. I think we are better with polee on the floor! His defense was amazing when we beat NM last year at Viejas to clinch the MW title. His 3 to tie the game late against LB state, basket to increase lead to 4, and free throws to cement the win. Remember; if we counted on jj's ffee throw late againt LB state, were also discussing a bad loss at home to LB state! Why yank the human pogo stick, my favorite aztec? Why not toss him some ally oops instead?

I expect to see people questioning his moves on a fan board but not his integrity. Well said. I do believe that fisher thinks he's making the best decisions. The poster is merely pointing out examples to support his claim. Everyone remembers when JF bumped the UCon point gaurd who FLOPPED like a pancake. Jamal was sparking our comeback and was benched! I can't help wondering what would have happened if Jamal stayed in that game.........

Geez, this is getting a bit carried away. Nobody wants to boo one of our players, at least I'm not hearing it the V section. But an open three is like free money to a lot of division 1 players. A player who shows weakness or is mentally fragile will be abused by the opposition. If a Kentucky player makes 2 out of 21 threes, what do you think they do with him? DP has had plenty of opportunities to be "the star" of our team. Sports is cruel, but basically its next man up if you have 4-5 bad games in a row. I just don't see the issue. Sure, let a guy shoot his way out of it, but there is a limit. DP does not have a great outside stroke, it is something that can fall apart easily. He is better closer to the basket. Unfortunately he now in a deep funk. I think a lot of that has to do with not having a "go to guy". Guys trying to be that guy who are not able to get over the top.

I saw Polee point upward & shrigley just kept it!

Aztec fans who boo Aztec Players should just stay at home and boo their own shortcomings. Really, what a bunch of hypocrites. The only time I would boo is if they showed a complete lack of effort. I booed the ladies once during the Barb Smith era. After not even playing token D, they gave up a half court shot at the buzzer to lose the game. The players left the court laughing. I felt that earned some boos.

Absolutely hoping to see DP back on the court this season... but also praying that this isn't a long-term medical condition that affects his everyday/non-basketball life.

It's just my personal opinion but from the way it looked I would say his career at SDSU is over. If he did have a condition that could reoccur SDSU would have a huge financial liability if something were to happen again. Hank Gathers collapsed in a game and was allowed to play again, he later died in another game and his family sued LMU for $32 million and it was settled out of court.

Can we not do this until we hear something? Amen. Shut up and say some prayers. And then pray some more for this young man.

Speculation does nothing, even if it's what this board is for. Not the right time or place. I've been highly critical of Dwayne's play this year, but none of that matters in the slightest right now. Pulling for the kid to make a full recovery and get back out on the court where he belongs.

I heard some booing early in the game, too. The players are not pros. I didn't particularly like DPII's game tonight, but I suspect he didn't either. Didn't hear any more booing as the game went on, however - or maybe it was just muted by the cheering. Hope those "fans" feel great about themselves right now.

Wow, my doc won't diagnose $#!+ for me until I come in for an examination. You must be one helluva doctor!

You think SDSU would let him play if he had a condition that further play could affect?
