Just got mine in the mail and I'm pretty bummed. Paid $65 per seat for "plaza/loge". What do I get? FIELD!
Way to reward your season ticket holders. Classic bait and switch. Some schmuck walking up on game day will probably have a better view than I will.
Here I am trying to do the right thing and buy the tix from the school instead of hand picking premier seats for the same price. Shame on me I guess.
I'm going to call the ticket office tomorrow but I doubt they will do anything to rectify the situation.

You guys have no pull whatsoever. I'll be in a private suite with a comfy chair, all the IPA's and food I can stomach, and my own private bathroom. I'd let you guys in on it, but my wife would be pissed. She'd also likely bitch-slap MOW after his third or fourth complaint about the pretzels. MOW comes off as never been in the Q. Just a chat room wannabe. The Q?!?!?! I was talking about my living room!

I would actually prefer Field over Plaza if they're not too low, but SDSU didn't give me that option when I bought them. Could only get those via Poinsettia bowl at the time & I wanted to help out SDSU's allotment. Only Plaza or Loge/Club were available. I got row 8, Plaza (P34 or P35 I believe).

I got Club 41. Never sat up there but I'm going to give it a try... who knows, might move my season tickets up there?
Just listed 2 extras in the ticket exchange, F35, Row 20.

I could've paid $20 more and had club level 50-yd line seats through Stub Hub. Instead, I've got 20-line club level tickets for $80 a pop. Of course, the Spaztec "Stickit" Office will blame the PBowel. I may still call to register my feelings just so they know. I'm sure they don't care. Guess I could have too. However, like you, I've once again prioritized my allegiance to SDSU over my wallet. But it's all good. The lousy seats just gives me another reason to get tanked in the parking lot before entering the stadium.

Half full? Which means 35,500. Supposed to be a beautiful day in Dego on Tuesday and half the seats in that ancient monstrosity are horseshit. So yeah, you'll be able to sit anywhere you want - as long as you don't mind horseshit.

Now that they've charged all of us, how much longer before they tell us where we get to sit? It helps to go there in person and work with someone. I am only two sections away from season ticket location, quite pleased. wouldn't have anything to complain about if he did that... and there's no fun in that.

There is a direct correlation to how good your seats are and demand. Ticket sales have been bad so far. So the seats SDSU received were determined after they went on sale to the general public? Probably true. I went to the Q and picked up tickets--they had stacks and stacks of pre-printed tickets to sell in various sections that all said "Navy vs TBA". Loge 21. Row 2.

I just drove from Carlsbad to the Q for the purpose of buying tickets to the game. Turns out the ticket office is closed on weekends, even 3 days before the bowl game. (I certainly should have checked first). I was hoping to go through SDSU to help out the school and possibly interact with a person to work out the seats. I'm bringing the in-laws and they'll likely not be as inclined to move to random empty seats if ours are no good. Do I wait until Monday, or say scew it and buy from somewhere online that'll let me pick my seats?

In my opinion if you live in San Diego County and you don't bother to go to the Bowl game you shouldn't be bitching about "lack of fan support" on this Board.

Maybe call in and see if they can set you up with will call so you don't have to waste a trip? Last I heard we haven't sold our 10k seat allotment but Navy has. What an embarrassment it would be to not sell out our allotment as the "home" team while the visiting team does.

Let's hope the allotted seats are filled in the direction the cameras face. Deception is perception.

Club Level, Section 33, through the Aztec ticket office. Don't know how that compares to other Aztec tickets. Exactly the comment that I would have posted. I am in row 7. Where did they place you?

What an embarrassment it would be to not sell out our allotment as the "home" team while the visiting team does. You can purchase tickets on Monday via phone and pick them up at will-call before the game. As to our opponent having "sold" its entire allotment, unless what I heard is inaccurate, Navy purchased most of their 10K and distributed them to personnel here in SD. That's analogous to SDSU purchasing most of its 10K and giving them away to students. I'll be there but as huge an SDSU football fan as I am, I have no more interest in this game than for the average home game so it doesn't surprise me in the slightest that ticket sales are flat. Win the damn Molehill West like we should and go to the LV Bowl and THEN if SDSU can sell only 7K tickets I'll be pissed.

Yes, the ticket office is kind of systematic... they wouldn't be open if it was the day before we played for the national championship. (At least, not the door open!) I've found them to be great via email or the phone. Hit the contact link or just wait to call in the morning. - oss.ticketmaster.com/aps/sdsu/EN/buy/details/05PP
