Rocky said a few years back that the era of the pure drop back passer has come and gone.
This kid seems to have some running/playmaking ability, I look forward to seeing him contribute.

What style does Toledo Prefer to run? How would you label J.R. Bowden Chapman Agnew Dual Threat.. Watch the Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers is Dual threat, great arm looks to pass, but can make a play on his feet with athletic ability and good speed. If the QB's can learn to make plays with thier arms and use thier feet as a last resort, that is what is ideal for the system we run. Toledo has been running sort of a West Coast offense. I imagine we will see a little more 1 back shotgun line up, but we won't abandon the QB under center with the FB. I seriously doubt Rocky and Toledo will just switch to Spread as long as the QB keep their head up to look for the open man down field rather than just tuck it and run...

What style does Toledo Prefer to run? How would you label J.R. Bowden Chapman Agnew You really seem obsessed by this. For 1, Toledo won't be around. 2nd, the offense will typically be tailored to the skillset of the QB, which will vary (even if slightly) from year to year. Before getting all obsessive compulsive over this why not wait to see who the OC is first, then wait for a couple years since he won't play prior to 2017 or 2018 most likely.
Talent is talent; a Pro-style is probably the most difficult to run given so few run it in HS, so anything different will only be easier for the kid to adapt to.

3rd in the conference thus far, which is solid and the only reason SJSU is ranked ahead of us is because they have 25 commits. We're really neck 'n neck with Fresno, trailing BSU which is no surprise.
EDIT: If you really break it down & ignore those teams which are only ranked ahead of us because they have 23+ recruits, we're 6th or 7th among all non-P5 conference teams nationally.

I have an intuitive feeling that Agnew is going to be something special, I have a hunch he will wind up as the backup QB. Nothing to base this on but pure speculation.

Tough to lose Rambo and Herring, two 3-star kids. Glad to see the December activity and signings.

I see the recruiting and development of the QB's as the cornerstone of the offense . SDSU's recruitment and development of QB's has been terrible to say the least . Did not know Toledo was going to leave when I posted and we were getting another OC. To me the new OC will be very important if the Aztecs hope to get to the MW Championship game .So I asked under what system would the best for the 4 QB's . to prosper . and the Aztecs to have a quality season .
