100 to 1, can anyone name the next SDSU transfer in 2015? (assumes Shep goes pro), anyone? Thoughts?

If Shep keeps playing the same way as he did last night he's not going pro after this year.

If Shep does leave that opens up 2 scholarships, I think ideally 1 would go to a grad transfer. Probably ideally a scoring wing that can also rebound.

How about this name, Craig Victor 6'8 220 PF from Arizona who was a Findley Prep? give him a call Shep. The Cats have 6'9 Ryan Anderson coming in from BC, who was in the mix but SDSU didn't have an open scholarship. Now wouldn't that be ironic?

as we have seen there will be some movement after December , when some players may decide they want to leave their programs during the semester break, but the bigger group comes after March Madness . Will also be interesting to see if the PAC rules about transfers gets completely explained and goes into affect , plus if other conferences follow their lead . ?

I think it is his goal and I don't think he would leave early to play in Europe or Asia. His goal is to get in the NBA and if he listens to Fisher he should understand that his odds of sticking greatly improve if you are a first round pick. Right now, he isn't. I thought we already had a spot available in 2015 for a potential transfer.

Plenty do, of course nba is their first option but they also know they can make good money overseas. If you think everyone prefers to play for free in college than making money overseas, then you seem to be the mental one.

Very rarely do players that wouldn't be first round picks as juniors help their stocks by going back a senior year and become first rounders. Age matters.

I've just googled it and can't find a single person who has. And you think college is "free"? You must not have gone to school then.

First of all I made a big typo, I meant to say of course the NBA is their first option. Players that left early last year that didn't get drafted: William Alston, Mychal Ammons, Chane Behanan, Sim Bhullar, Khem Birch, Jabari Brown, Jahii Carson, James Michael McAdoo, Eric Moreland, LaQuinton Ross, Antonio Rucker, JaKarr Sampson, Ta'Quan Zimmerman. And yes college is a free and the scam of NCAA should be despised, while the NCAA makes million dollars off these kids they get pretty much nothing in income that they deserve.

Wow, now you change your story. Whatever. You're right (not). Getting a scholarship to pay for an education, room and board, all worth tens of thousands of dollars per year is "free". I bet you also got one of those "free" Obama cell phones, right?

Long season still to be played . Would guess all players planning to leave the school they are at attempting to go to NBA or not getting enough PT at their present school, will go over all options . Do not know if Shepard did the apply to NBA to get evaluation of draft possibility last year ,if not he could do that this year . Although most NBA people will not always give you a straight answer . So maybe we check back in March when we see what players have produced and what players are not happy with their PT and want to move to another school or just leave school for any option.

He's not a first rounder, staying his senior year wouldn't change that either.
