If we hit one more 3 point shot last night the board would be on fire about undefeated seasons and National Championships....instead we are blessed with suggested changes to the starting line ups , who should get a FT coach, zone defense...etc.
I can only pray Angie has blocked the site from Coach's computer.

Yup... we are not privy to practices obviously. But what I do see are the games on TV and in person. Kell is a stud and needs to be at SG. Zabo (or Quinn) need to start at PG. Then watch our offense come alive. Shep is much better suited at SF and look at his improvement. We tried Shep at PG for 2 years. What a waste of time and that stunted his growth. Fisher is an amazing coach. But we shouldn't be worshipping him like he's not capable of making very small errors in judgment. It was Hutson, not Fisher, that called the 1-3-1 defense versus New Mexico. So it's possible, he's making the same mistake with Kell as he did with Shepard by trying them at PG. There's no national championship with Kell at PG.

I think Fish keeps trying big PGs because he has his eye on the real prize, Final 4 or NC.
When you get in THE tourney and play elite teams little PGs tend to get overmatched by the elite PGs in the country.
Nov and Dec is when you experiment with best options, I don't mind the Kell at PG experiment. His A / TO ratio for the season is actually better than Zabo's right now.

I always wondered how people like actors can be judged by critics who can't do their jobs. Who cares, but the fan's? I don't need any one to tell me when a good movie is better then another movie. Perhaps if the critic has my personality I might agree with them.

We covered the spread. We also moved up in CBS's rankings despite the close loss.
The hell are some fans crying about? We lost to the more talented team who has a big-time national foot print in a great grinder. We went toe-to-toe with an elite team. Yeah, we came up short. TO's and missed FTs killed us. Live and learn.

I don't think it's coaches fault when T.J. McConnell is wide open on the perimeter.

There's no national championship with Kell at PG. W-Shep has hardly played at the point over his first two seasons, so I don't understand what you are writing. In our O, several players start plays, and up to this season, that person was X. Early on, coach tried him (Shep) at the point, but it didn't work that well. At this point, Zabo is the better point, but TK is still learning. Having two points is good, especially because they have different styles of play. Kell plays way better D, and that may be why he has been given the nod.

I think Fisher puts Kell out the point because he doesn't make mistakes. Zabo does, but has a higher ceiling than Kell at the point. Quinn is likely put at the 2 spot because he has been better from beyond the arc than Kell, though he struggled to get open looks against the zonies. Zabo has been getting better and I expect him to be our PG at some point in the season. I do agree that Kell is more suited for the 2 despite the fact that he had a pretty good tournament at PG this week. No reason to make wholesale changes because of a close loss to Arizona. This team is going to get better as Pope starts being more comfortable, Shrigley comes back to give us another outside shooter, and, hopefully, Z comes back and can quickly get up to speed to give us another athlete with good size (and rebounding) inside.

I keep looking at this board expecting a reasonable reaction to a close loss.
Whats the definition of insanity again?
