...and Saturday's game is huge. Win it and we have our 5th straight winning season. Lose it and our season goes from disappointing to somewhat disastrous. I don't think for a second that we're going to lose it.
I hope to see a crowd of 25,000+ at The Q on Saturday afternoon to watch our Aztecs win by at least 17.

I'll be there with at least one in tow.
Predicted high of 70 with a cloudless sky. With the earlier start time it should be a beautiful afternoon for a butt kicking of San Jose State.

Who'd a ever thunk that the Football team would suddenly become The Little Sisters of the Poor at SDSU.
With that 'early' (for SDSU) kick-off time, it's too bad there isn't a Basketball Game scheduled that night!
I wonder how many will be in attendance.
Students home for the holidays can't make much difference. LOL. Won't be any worse than last Saturday night.
15,000 Aztec fans actually in seats?

This is a Rocky Long team and they will not be un-focused. Not that San Jose is awful as they do have weapons despite their injuries. We shall win and then hope for a semi-miracle in Fresno. Go Joey Iosefa! But, if, not, we should all be looking forward to another Navy - Aztec matchup on Dec. 23. Mabye 50k this time around.

Definitely a very important game for the team and coaches for a very winnable game . SENIOR GAME. No excuses for this game . Opportunity to "share " West Division leader ( but lose on tie breaker) , opportunity to play in a Bowl game , no matter how minor , still gives the players an opportunity to be in a Bowl game , for some their 1st to FIFTH ( what Aztecs can say that) , another opportunity for Ruffin, extra practice for ALL ,including Red Shirts , RECRUITING benefits .
Maybe the Marketing group could have it be SENIOR GAME - reduced prices for any Senior . Senior Citizen or HS Senior and families , to boost the attendance .
Is it 3:30 start ?

On one hand It's pretty impressive to go to 5 bowl games in a row but on the other hand the quality of the bowls isn't very impressive. next year there needs to be a big jump in record and quality of bowl.

This is exactly why I became a Hawai'i fan this week. Go Bows! Beat Fresneck!

The good news for SJSU is that they have a wide receiver with 72 catches. The bad news is the guy is averaging 9.1 yards per catch, pathetic for a WR. Attendance? Yeah they'll announce 25K because that's how many tickets will have been sold but 15K actual butts seems more likely. I'm also highly skeptical that the Poinsettia Bowl will get 50 grand. Maybe so if we miraculously somehow get to the MWC title game and then win at Boise and the LV bowl pays us a chunk of money so they can take Boise instead. But realistically, I'll guess 38K.

Truly good teams throttle at least a couple lesser teams each year, and I'm confident that this team is capable of putting a whoopin' on San Jose State.

A Bowl would be nice 8-5 would be a good springboard for next year, Given all the injurys it is not the same as last year where they simply took a game off and blew it. i do not think Quinns arm has got three games left. Hawaii could very well beat Fresburg though with Joey Iosefa running hard and if the Bows force some turnovers. IN that scenario I would like Boise to lose to Utah State.

Last week I saw a thread that stated a point spread for AFA versus SDSU, my first thought was we don't play them until next year.

Kindly stick it where the sun don't shine. And do so in a very violent manner. That is all.

Why has the Boston Globe listed SDSU vs. SJSU as "no line" all week? I'm not a gambler. Info, please!
