Not sure why everyone is so afraid of Wyoming. What happened last year, or any other year doesn't mean anything this year. They might be better than last year, but so are we. I expect for us to win in Laramie. I say that every year and then stuff like 8 points in a half happens. :-)

I was thinking the same thing this morning. However, traveling the physical gauntlet of the MW locations is one heck of an added obstacle. I'm gonna reserve thoughts of 30-0 until after tonight's game. It's going to be a street fight and, to your point, if we do win tonight it will set up very serious thoughts of running the table. First you say you are not going to do something and then you do

However, I'm gonna try not to go there until after tonight.

Way too much pressure for a team who is undefeated. As a fan I suppose you can go ahead and hope for that. As a coach, I'd much rather be a bit under the radar ( with less pressure on the athletes) going into the tourney. I know many won't agree with that but that's my opinion.

Arizona is one of the best 3 teams in the country . They are better then us at every position . Know our defenses . We are going to have to play our best game of the last few years and hope they are off their game . Our PG play is inexperienced, their guy is a 5th year PG . Our play down low -rebounding is questionable but Anything can happen , so hope we have a fantastic game , keep it close .? Nope

Nope, the better the team the more the pressure, the worse the team the less the pressure, so you hope we are worse?

We've only won at Wyoming 4 of the last 11 years yet probably had a better team than the Cowboys each of those years. The winter travel and 7200 foot elevation make it a brutal place to play every year.

One game at a time, one half at a time.

I thought about this too. Obviously, even if we win tonight, it would be difficult, but not impossible.
BTW here is a Wyoming moment to remember

I just expect to lose at wyo every season. We need a training center that reproduces altitude or those bane masks that do similar that people love to wear in the gym.
You only adopted the flat bench. I was born with it. Molded by it. I didn't see a squat rack til I was already a man.

One of the guys at halftime said that Arizona wasn't playing as good as their #3 rating and we are playing better than our #15 rating. Watching the zonies last night they seem to have similar struggles on offense that we had pre-tourney. If we beat them it will give us a second quality win which will help with seeding later on. We don't have to be undefeated to get a good seeding, and I think any talk of going undefeated is unrealistic. We could very well lose an OOC game and I don't expect that we will go through conference undefeated, even with the MW being down. We can hope that both Utah and BYU can win some games this year so both of those wins will look better. I do think BYU is going to beat Gonzaga at least once this season. Utah will be playing a few ranked teams in conference play as well.

Nobody should ever say something like this, but it is true that at least right now we are favored to win every game from this point forward. Thinking that we will is pretty dumb at this point though. Can we win tonight? Of course we can, especially if we play like we did last night. Team looks really good. I haven't watched one second of AZ play so far his year so I have no real opinion on tonight. Fish looks like he is doing a great job of instilling confidence in these guys right now so more power to him. Win or lose hopefully nobody looks too far ahead after this game.
