Aztecs should full court press Arizona tomorrow night and take advantage of our superior depth. Ummmm, SDSU's depth is not superior to Arizona.

One thing I love about our depth is that if the current 5 in at the time falls into a slump, Fisher can sub a bunch of them out and get a whole new dynamic from another group. That happened last night in the Pitt game right after halftime when Pitt started to make a little run and cut it to 12 or 13 points. Fish did a 3 man sub and we got the lead right back up to around 20. Love this team

N. Johnson scored the last fifteen points for AZ in March, after being held scoreless the entire game. The Aztecs have a much better chance of winning with NJ pursuing professional opportunities.

I still say mix in some full court presses on McConnell. I think they could rattle him. Refs need to behave of course but I like the Aztecs +5 I can tell you that. It seems like we are due for a breakthrough win vs them after a few close losses. And Aztecs beat them at Ariz a few years ago of course, but since then it has been some bitter close defeats to them.

Damn, opportunity lost against UofA. Like the Oracle said we leave too much meat on the bone. UofA is not as good as last year and we had a few chances to pad our lead but failed because of missed FTs and turnovers.
Either way, no shame in losing to them tonight. Despite not being as talented as last year, UofA is still a quality team. Can only learn and build from here. Good Maui tourney and hope all those that attended had a blast there.

So here is something else to chew on. What you are looking at tonight are two high level teams that can go toe to toe with anyone in the country. What makes UofA a better team is the minutia between the players. Ball control, free throws, and unforced turnovers are the differences. It really comes down to these small things that separate the upper top 10 vs. the lower top 10 teams.
