Seems a bit lost, uncomfortable right now. His 3-pt shots are not even close. He hasn't aggressively taken a ball to the basket and he hasn't attempted the beautiful 15 foot pull up jumper. Man, once he gets it together, we are going to be scary.

He seems out of control on defense, too.

Dude's gonna be juuuuust fine.
Only 2-3 guys in our rotation will be hot on any one day. He'll be one of those guys quite a few times.

He's too good to have lost it all together. When he comes around, and when Pope, Shrigley and Cheatham are healthy...we will be scary.

Polee is going to play better. He needs to stop pressing and just play.

I'd like to see AQ start and let DP be the 6th man of the year again... or start Kell and Zabo and bring both off the bench for instant offense.

He'll be fine. Starting is a different dynamic than being the 6th man. But i would expect this all season from this team. It will be a different man stepping up each game/week. When one is a little off, another will be streaking hot. Polee just needs to keep up the defensive intensity and he'll find his touch on the offense no sweat.

Needs to come off the bench and not start. He will be more comfortable in that scenario

actually, he's shooting like he's kobe while currently being kobe He's scoring 35 points a night on 35 shots? I'll take it He had 9 points on 9 shots? Right on track. Now all that's needed is for Polee to be such a horrible teammate that no other talented players want to play with him.

My suggestion before the season was that Shrigley start and Polee remain the first sub off the bench since Shrigley is more comfortable at starting and Polee seems better off the bench. Polee will be fine, but we could use Shrigley, Pope, and/or Cheatham at some point.

Why couldn't he hit foul shots last night?
I scared my dog yelling at my TV.

DP will be fine - nobody at any level can play well every night.
He's playing some awesome defense at times. It's almost like if we really need to get a steal, he will get it done.

Some guys play at different tempo than others. Some push while others walk the ball up the court. Some swing pass around the perimeter while others try to drive/create off the close out. I must admit, he was a little off at times, throwing bricks on free throws but he recovered later. As the team finds it's identity on offense, Polee will find his correct tempo.

I am definitely not worried about Polee and know he'll be better than fine. He'll be great.
Though have noticed he's seemed a little off and don't feel like we've seen his normal rhythm or potential--definitely aware of how early the season is. Still, it left me wondering if he is just one of those players that thrives more coming off the bench. Manu Ginobili, Taj Gibson, James Harden once upon a time... Seems like he really enjoyed and played his top game when he could "hop" in (see what I did there?) off the bench with a flurry of excitement and scoring.
Either way, love his game and his style. Just keep on busting out the pogo stick!
Go Aztecs!
