Was great guarding Delon Wright (the projected 1st round nba pick from Utah) & even better tonight vs Bakersfield.

Thought Dakari looked much better than last year, as you would expect.
He also looks like Malik Pope's little brother (Even though he's probably older).

Kari is fun to watch, seems to always come out with the 50/50 balls and scrum rebounds...he also slashes into the lane well, he just can't seem to finish but neither can anybody on this team

People on this team need to learn to drive and dish. They keep trying to drive on their defender leading them to a double team and they don't have their head up looking for a dish in the lane or even a kickout 3. They have it made up in their head that they're going to go up with it before they even drive. An open 3 is a lot higher percentage than a double-teamed layup
In order for us to make the leap to a final four team, we really need to get better with assists. We've had this issue for years. We very rarely make great passes that set teammates up, and the top teams do it routinely

Dakarai has the potential and energy to be a lock down defender and with those long arms and excellent rebounder. He just needs to learn to slow down when finishing and develop a midrange game. He's just another kid that has loads of talent and potential that doesn't have an ego and just wants to win. We have some great kids on this team.

Defenses are going to zone us up to force bad shots. We keep falling into their plan and each guy is just playing one on one it seems. Dakarai is looking great. He's got soo much potential and physical ability. And you can really see a sense of urgency, intensity and fire in his play. I believe he realizes he needs to make big steps if he wants minutes. I believe by his senior year he will be a leader on this team.

Matteo has hit it . The team needs to move with out the basketball , quick sharp passes to find the open man then finish at the rim or even jump shots , follow your shot . Numerous times yesterday I saw guys never even look for guys moving in on the wing and a pass could have been an easy basket or a dunk . Kell missed at least 4 or 5 guys on breaks but never seemed to be looking . It does mean adjusting the offense ,less one on one and more quick passes .
Dakari was a valuable player in this game so was Zabo . Hope both stay in the rotation ,with Pope back. It will definitely be an adjustment for Fisher playing 10 guys but could pay off . Williams at PG is another player that could help as lock down on D .Deep bench with a spread of talent from player 1 to 13 .

Scrappy hustler who provides a spark. He's also a tough defender with lots of length and quick hands.

The last two games are the first time the kid has really gotten on the floor for extended periods to get comfortable and this is because of Shrigley's injury. He has another month or so and should have his offense figured out by then.

He was highly touted defensively but struggled with hand checking last year. So far this year he is playing defense with his feet a lot more and his length is making him one of the best wind defenders on the team.
His hustle and desire are beyond question at this point. He's earning every minute he is getting and I'm excited to see him continue to develop.

Say they have the Black Team ; Spencer, JJ OB, Polee , Shepard , Kell Red Team , Chol, Allen , Pope , AQ and Zabo
If Pope can become the SCORER/ shooter , Chol more offense then Spencer , AQ and Zabo both can score , gives Allen opportunity to be Defender, rebounder and slash to the basket for points. and deserves PT , at least during OOC . Shrigley's main asset is shooting three's(at best streaky ) so if Polee, Kell , Pope , AQ can do it then give Allen the PT. I do not care how we score points just so we start scoring.
Either way it is going to take Fisher to make the adjustment to go from 8 to 10 players . Also think D.A would also be very good if we used a Zone D .
