No, the 47th rated player nationally isn't good. Come on guys.... Unless it espn rankings I don't follow that closely Not a fan of the ESPN Rankings, Rivals & Scout are more trustworthy. 24/7 is notable.

Aztecs are going to want to add a center ,with Cage . If Stanback is happy coming to SDSU , then fine with us . Not sure if he has us on his board . Do think the scoring in the BYU game does help us recruit guys who also want to see us score some points , but we all know you need to play D , and not everyone buys in .

A lad wanting to someday play in the NBA might improve his chances, significantly, IF he was willing to commit to being a really good defensive player.
Even the Great Michael Jordan played very high level defense: A key reason that he was one of the all time best players EVER.

Yes MJ was also a good defender but can we be realistic ,not many guys worry or want to play D . They are all about the offense not the Defense. As we have already heard numerous times this year and many years before this one. If you do not play D at SDSU , you are very likely to have a seat on the SDSU bench . So do not have SDSU on their list of schools they are looking at .The coaches have said not every recruit is a guy that is ready to play for the Aztecs . It does drop the number of recruits that the coaches look at . So if Stanback or other C 's , say they buy in, then it is worth an offer .

Bigs that come in will get PT and all eyes on them. Plus Fish has 3 more solid years.

Any word on Trevor Stanback coming to the Mesa, this thread has gone cold. With Zimmerman going to UNLV that may eliminate the Rebs.

USC is on him hard. UNLV still on him too. No idea beyond that.

Hopefully he doesn't like to smoke the weed I bet no less than half our current team "likes to smoke the weed" How will that work when weed becomes legal here in 2016? Bongs before practice?

With Kone' committing to Oregon State, Jones to UTEP and Narain reclassifying, we're down to two big recruits; Stanback and Cage for 2016.

I bet no less than half our current team "likes to smoke the weed" How will that work when weed becomes legal here in 2016? Bongs before practice? It would still be banned by the NCAA most likely. Caffeine is legal, but yet per NCAA rules, you can only have a certain amount of it in your system. There are plenty of legal things that are banned or closely monitored by the NCAA. So the legality of weed won't do too much for it being under NCAA banned substances.

Was a "hidden gem" this summer, listed at anywhere from 6'7" to 6'9" SF or PF? He is from the Washington and has a Udub offer. Given his length and ability, he sounds better than where Buddha Jones is at. I dont think he has a PF body yet? Looks thin.

Has Stanback ever expressed any interest in SDSU? Or visited? Not that I have heard. His offers: ASU, Oregon, UCLA, NC State, UConn, USC, UNLV and SDSU. Word is he is leaning to the PAC. Both Cage and Stanback have offers from NC State, UCLA and SDSU.

Would be ideal to sit a little behind narain. As he fills out could play with narain as narain c, or cage (if we got him). Judging by a Washington rivals article he wasn't thrilled Washington waited to offer him. Probably official visiting sdsu this month

Aztecs are going to need another C/PF or two to go with Narain . Will be interesting to see if the coaches can line up some quality visits .
Any chance of J. Allen or E. Edikyor (sp) coming to SDSU for a visit ?
