I watched the game and also thought Malcolm had some great passes. He looked like he deserved to be out there.

Well, if he can't keep getting minutes for the second to worst team in the league... He could always get a starting gig with the Lakers.

At the 3:39 mark of the 3rd quarter Malcolm set a screen and sprinted past the hyped Miami player Birdman and received a pass from Wroten and threw it down. That tied the score 80-80. And 286 seconds later Malcolm was pulled for the heir apparent Noel and of course Sixers got blown out by 18 from there. They were down 6 when Malcolm was pulled. Noel finished a bad night with 25 minutes played only 5 rebounds 2 points on 1-4 shooting and 3 turnovers.Ugly. Malcolm finished a efficient night with 19 minutes 8 points on 4-4 shooting and 9 rebounds with no turnovers
He held the Birdman in 17 minutes played to ZERO points on 0-2 shooting and only 3 rebounds

Sixers next game is at home . They will have NO CHANCE of winning as they will host Houston - Trevor Ariza, James Harden and Dwight Howard .oh and Nick Johnson(Arizona) But anyway Sixers love to turnover the ball and well Houston loves to run. Woops. Malcolm will get his minutes because the game will be over soon.

Did he really hold down Birdman or did the ball not go to him? He wasn't playing Birdman closely. Also, on a few occasion he was out of place to help against penetration in the key and didn't put much effort into rebounding in the second half. Again, you're not looking at the right things. Your original post makes it seem like Malcolm does not deserve to be playing in the NBA.
That is truly laughable
Noel made alot more mistakes than Malcolm in a similar amount of minutes and he is the superstar from Kentucky

1. Sixers shot 52.2% . So there were not alot of offensive rebounds to be had. Sixers were only down 6 when Malcolm was pulled in the 4th and then Noel stunk bad as his replacement. They lost by 18.Noel played much worse than Malcolm in this game.
2. Heat shot 50% overall mostly from the outside and off TO's so there were not alot of defensive rebounds to be had
3.Thomas played few meaningful minutes in the second half in fact only about 6 minutes He came in with the Sixers down 6 and they took the lead 83-82 with him on the court so he could not have been that bad. The Sixers gave up the lead at that point because of Cole and Chalmers wide open looks and bad guard defense. Fisher would bench most of the Sixers team lol for lack of discipline.
4.I dont expect Malcolm to be All Star with basically is first chance to play in the NBA. He has worked hard to get to this point and I won't be critical of his play when he is not the one causing the Sixers to lose. He has the fewest turnovers on the Sixers in 50 minutes of play and has dished out some nice passes.
5. He has a daughter and I want Malcolm to have the ability to take care of her instead of leave for China.

Not sure if you saw this beauty. But he just about got front row seats to the most embarrassing moment of the NBA season.
Oops!

Noel will get more minutes than MT, regardless of their comparative play, because he was a top draft choice and has more "upside" (they hope!).

Malcolm needs steroids. Look at what they did for Dwight Howard!
