On November 18 the Aztecs host Utah in a Men's basketball game. The game is Tuesday at 1:00 PM. If you are a season ticket holder and you can not make that game, please take steps to insure your tickets are used. We need a full house to help the Aztecs defeat a very good Utah team. If you have no idea what to do with your tickets (or want to be nice) offer them to the Show. The Show's Email AddressI am sure the students will be in full force and could use a couple of other tickets for students who would love to go to the game. You have been advised. I don't want to see any empty seats

This must be that ESPN 24 hours of basketball crap? Only reason I could see a 1pm Tuesday start. Or is the game in Maui?

Is the game in Maui? If you read the OP I think you will self identify the answer to your question.

This game is televised back east on The ESPN at 4:00 PM. Having a full and loud house will leave an impression. Of course, a win would be nice too.

Sorry, but that's still football season. So no football talk in late August? Talk all you want about anything you want for all I care. Personally, in November, I'm still invested in football.

Basketball season never really ends, but if we must put a "start date" on it, that would be November 7th. Anything else happening, anywhere, is simply background noise. Got a hungry kid? Sorry, basketball season. Got a nagging wife? Sorry, basketball season. Got a (non-BCS playoff) bowl game to attend? Sorry, basketball season.
The big boys take the stage for real November 14th, so I suppose you can wait until then.

Great post . Would be a smart idea if the AD department sends out an email to all the season ticket holders and additional information about the parking . Also announcements/flyers at the games on 11/7 and 11/14 .

We have a joke already going around the household that the wife -- who is prof'ing a SDSU stats class this year -- is holding her regular Tuesday office hours at Viejas Arena that day.
We'll be there.

SDSU BB vs Utah Nov. 18th SDSU BB vs CSU Bakersfield Nov. 20th SDSU FB vs Air Force Nov. 21st Although I do admit I wish football & basketball season didn't overlap. Go Aztecs!

Being part of the 24hrs of basketball is awesome at anytime. There is a ton of pub that comes with these games and we got a great time slot (for the most part). Game ends around 6pm est, lots of eyeballs on the tube then.

Or is the game in Maui? hmmmm complaining about National ESPN exposure at 3pm eastern time - between only a handful of schools selected and a home audience to boot - to showcase our great fans & perhaps a few screen shots of the sunset in la jolla.
YEAH WHAT KIND OF CRAP IS THIS...
You can't buy this sort PR!
