I love the fast break where JJ hits Shrigley with the quick pass. Such a heady beautiful play. Polee and Thames deservedly get a lot credit for that comeback. But, JJ and Davis played incredibly well during that run. m.youtube.com/watch?v=BbU4Cb4A4-o

That comeback 15 pts down was surreal, especially without scoring any 3 pt shots. Maybe they should play Zone defense more often.

With 13 deep this year may not hurt to have parts of the game where. the Aztecs keep switching defenses and presses . Know coach H was talking about it last spring . A zone where Skylar gets to hang in the middle of the lane could be effective 1-3-1 or 2-3 .... One of the advantages of the zone last year was quick release for easy fast break baskets . Take advantage of our athleticism and strong bench .

That was a top 5 game ever in my book...
Right up there with...
1. BYU in the MWC championship game 2. Kansas @ Kansas 3. Gonzaga @ Gonzaga 4. St. Mary's in the NIT

To be honest I would be happy with 30 blow out victories.

To be honest I would be happy with 30 blow out victories. Just 30?....I'm thinking about 38 is a better number

Need to have 5 of those flailing arm, dancing blow up things with Aztec jerseys on displayat Viejas, lol. Maybe put a few player likenesses in the student section with swim noodles for arms and wave them around when the team is on D.

A coupe of other nice comebacks from 2013-2014 At Boise State last year the Aztecs were 13 points down with 11:53 to go. The Aztecs were down as much as 14 points in the second half. They went on a 16-0 run to grab a 2 point lead. The game ended much more dramatically than the New Mexico game with Polee hitting a last second 3 to win the game. Creighton jumped on the Aztecs early in the second round of the Wooden Classic. They scored 14 points in the first 4 minutes of the game to lead 14-2. That 12 point lead held until the score was 19-7 when Aztecs made their move. It was an incredible run. The Aztecs outscored #18 Creighton, who had the best offense in the NCAA last year, 31-9 over the next 11 minutes, for a 38-28 lead. It was especially sweet for those sitting next to the section of Creighton fans in the second deck. They were so loud and in our face early in the game. What a sweet game and great run.
