Boise won't be playing for anything when they meet SDSU as they own the tie-breaker against the Rams. Wyoming is a 18.5 dog, yikes!

I wish SC and SDSU were average!

A loss goes to keeping Wyoming out of the bowl picture. UNR is 3 point favorite over Hawaii. Go Warriors.
Best regards, Albert

Their QB is playing lights out, that can and will change when they face a real D. Playing UH on the Island is a completely different situation in comparison to UH on the road. I expect if they can muster any D they will beat UNR.

Colorado State could very realistically win all of their last 5 games and finish 11-1... that'd be remarkable. They have Wyoming, Hawaii, UNM, Air Force, and SJSU. The only one I could see them losing is Air Force, but they could also definitely win that game. They could have a special year this year

What's crazy is they could go 11-1 and not make the MWC Championship game. Since their one loss was to Boise State, they need Boise to lose at least one more time.

My take on Colorado State is that they have the best quarterback in the conference by a substantial margin. The rest the team is good not particularly great. They have a pretty good defense. I noticed during the Nevada Colorado State game that Nevada for most of the game was not getting any pressure on Grayson, he had all day to throw the ball. I have to agree with Rocky that there is no team in this league that cannot lose to another team in this way if things go sour for them, a key injury bad officiating weird weather whatever.
I don't like all these scenarios where we hope another team will beat another team. That's not the way champions think, we will win this conference or not by beating the remaining teams on our schedules. Boise State had a hell of a time with Fresno at home and when we're healthy were a lot better than Fresno. Nevada is giving up 482 yards a game is no excuse for not beating them. It would be nice however if BYU and Hawaii physically and emotionally beat down Nevada and Boise State. Just to take the edge off their home-field advantage. The matter what we have to win those games out right to win the Western division. If we were to ever match up with Colorado State I think the key would be our pass rush if we can get pressure with just four guys I think we would win that.

Job #1 for the Aztecs is to win the rest of the games on our schedule ... Nevada, Idaho, Boise St., Air Force & San Jose St. -- Doing so would would ensure the Aztecs are the MWC-West Champion.
It would indeed help if Wyoming beat CSU ... then, barring a loss to Utah St, Boise St. would sit atop the MWC-Mtn Div.
Someone will have to remind me the rules for hosting the MWC-CCG in the event that the Aztecs are 7-1 in conference with a head to head win over the Mtn Champion if it's Boise with a conference record of 6-2
In any event, like Rocky said, there's still a lot of football to be played and anything can happen ... Boise St could also trip up against Utah St, @ Wyo or @ UNM -- CSU could trip up against Hawaii, UNM, @ AFA or @ SJSU if not against WYO.

Grayson is a good QB but definitely not the best in the conference by a 'substantial margin'. Fajardo is right there with him, and he scares me as much if not more than Grayson. I think CSU is the 2nd best team in the conference, but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they lost any game but don't expect it to be this weekend unfortunately.

But it makes the Power 5 look that much weaker if Colorado State wins out. I want them to finish with one loss and two wins against Colorado and Boston College to make the Power 5 look bad which it should with the over hyped Florida State team
