Not sure why everyone thinks Reno is a good team. They aren't. Playing close games and losing doesn't make a good team. Scoring points doesn't make a good team. Winning makes a good team and last I checked, their record is is the definition of average. Fajardo is a terrible passing QB. Make him a passing QB and we win going away. Our D is twice theirs. Our running game and O line will dominate,

Currently, the line on the Nevada@Hawaii game is only -3 in favor of Nevada.

A win and we go no worse than 8-4 and most likely 9-4 if we play Navy in the Ponto which is ESPN's prediction. A nine win season and a fifth straight bowl is good for recruiting purposes) given the injuries

Suggest those who care keep this useful site in your favorites. lsufootball.net/tvschedule.htmAlso, I find it interesting that the "Rainbow" warriors have brought that word back after several years hiatus. Someone could start a thread about just the implications of that.

As others have pointed out Fresno only has one difficult game to play At Nevada 11/22 . They also have the tie breaker with SDSU. Aztecs can only control their own games . So if they want an opportunity to play in the Championship game sure seems as though Nevada becomes a near must win . Kevin O C , who knows QB's rates the Wolf Pack QB the best one in the MW . Aztecs will need a strong game from the D . Offense to control the ball and score TD 's not TO's to beat them . Game could be what team controls the line of scrimmage , on both sides of the ball . The QB is the most important player on the field.

whoops the 12 AM eastern time read it as 1200 pm, the 26th. Its actually night in Honolulu. anyway her arew some stats from Nevada Stat Rank Value Total Offense 65th 412.3 Rushing Offense 57th 171.4 Passing Offense 60th 240.9 Team Passing Efficiency 72nd 126.83 Scoring Offense T-62 30.4 Total Defense 114th 482.3 Rushing Defense 66th 161.3 Passing Yards Allowed 122nd 321.0 Team Passing Efficiency Defense 101st 142.51 Scoring Defense 77th 27.7
now they have played some very good offenses but the point is they give up a lot yards and points 27.7 a game. Fajardo is at 621% completions 10 TDs 6 ints.

A win would be big, very big!
Sadly, however, not big enough to stop the whining that goes on here on a weekly basis.

At 4-3 you are right, but it's the same record as we have, so we are really not much better. If, you saw the second half against the BYU Cougs you wouldn't be saying 'Fajardo is a terrible passing QB'. He had a terrific game, and his WR's made him look very good. Plus, one thing you should never overlook when sizing up teams is how they perform when they play you (history). The last two times we have played the Wolfpack the game has gone to overtime. They have given us all we could handle. I not saying that the same will happen again this Saturday, but the chances of it happening looks better than your prediction of us winning going away. If, we do win as you say, then great I don't mind, but I'm not counting on it.

A DUI at Florida St. gets you 1 extra lap after practice. An extra lap around the buffet table. But only if you confine yourself to eating protein. If you eat nothing but desserts, it's half a lap. /s/ Almost Glad SDSU Didn't Hire Jimbo Fisher Rather Than Chuck Long (Almost)

Hawaii played very poorly vs. us. Hoping the can rise up at home and put Renyo down. Could happen. I think the bye helps us in several ways.

So, because I don't have higher post count, I'm not allowed to point out the obvious? You making a judgment call about a post based on post count would be similar to me judging a post of yours on an SDSU board because you are a trojan fan. btw, guessing I have been lurking this and previous sdsu boards far longer than you have been an aztec fan.

Put another way, we FORCED Hawaii to play poorly, and they were also playing on the road. Hopefully UNR isn't able to contain them like we did, and Hawaii is more effective at home.
