There is something funny, in a dark humor kind of way, that there is 3 pages and growing about the CROWD! wow

TV dictates when we play and the other side of the coin is 7:30 kickoffs are terrible for folks like me that make the trek down to SD from the L.A. area. So I get what you're saying but I think all things considered, 5:30 KOs are ideal. So getting home at Midnight as opposed to 10 is that big a difference? Thats two hours. Yes it is a big difference.

People complain no matter the game time! Afternoon games interfere with kids activities, or time doing something else and later games are just that, too late, it's no wonder "the murph" is empty! Go to Oklahoma and see how the crowd is at 9am or 9pm....no different! They are just appreciative to spend 6 days of the 365 days watching football. It's crazy that people don't just accomodate any time and put their other "activities" off for a day.....it's just 6 freeeking days a year people!!! Saturday's in the fall should be reserved for Aztec football no matter what. It's just 6 damn days a year!!! + 1,000 The Mods should make another sub-forum called ..... Bitch and Complain about Anything and Everything They have that ... it's called Aztec Mesa!

not so much about the crowd... more of the typical conversation on here with people complaining for the sport of complaining.
the stadium was half full... no it wasn't it was half empty. there were lots of people there... ya, but they left early. great student section tonight... ya, but do they know the rules of football. and on and on and on.
well done, "fans".
smh

As to those students... I've been impressed. They've made a leap from previous seasons in that they at least make the attempt to go to the game, if only for the first half, every game. In previous years, it's been that they show for the first game and that was it. Season over. Here we are approaching late October and they are still showing up. I've definitely noticed the same thing. And you can bet the players have as well.

One o'clock? Well, it means that to be fully awake I need to get some coffee to go, which means that I'm unable to get to sleep until 2:00. When I was young, that's no problemo. But I'm not young anymore.

Just another reason for Rocky & coaching staff to keep running the football! haha keep the clock moving

The game day experience is what you make of it, especially when the team is playing well & won the game!

it was a great crowd! The pregame tailgating atmosphere in B3 was awesome and I know wear I was sitting (Club 5), it was pretty damn loud.
