Just one 'marquee' victory in my lifetime (of course I've been hoping for that ever since Andy Trakas...)...

What can help the pain? Knowing that we don't have to play byu in football this season! I can't stand the fact that they are winning against good teams and we continue to field a mediocre at best team. They seem to be able to attract decent players and coach them to win. When will we finally rise above this.... what is it going to take?

In their last 22 games against the Pac-12, the Aztecs have won only once: a 42-24 victory over Washington State on Sept. 17, 2011.

We're all disappointed, but quitting so MBB is forced to join the Big West is not a smart route to even consider. I think you are over estimating our basketball "prowess" over the past 7 or 8 years after so many years of futility. Maybe we should've shut down basketball in the 90's with your so-called thinking?? Lame.

Or a school that continues to feed money down the Aztec football rat hole.

What really helps is having UNLV come to town. At least we aren't them...any more.

A couple of things should ease the pain.
1. The last 10 years of Aztec Basketball. (nuff said)
2. The last 4 years of Aztec Football.
Wins at the rate of 7/8/9 a season are finally here...a conf. championship last year...wins on the road at Reno & Boise State in conf. You have to start somewhere and this program has started that progress.
