Well, that was forgettable. I wish Mike Riley, Sean Manion and the rest of the Beavers a great year in the Pac 12. I hope the WR whose finger was point the wrong way has a quick recovery.

What does it say about this coaching staff that during the past two seasons the starting QB regresses? We all were upbeat about Dingwell but he came back from the offseason and was awful. On comes QK who played well last season and he too regresses the following season. I sense a trend

That was quite the embarrassing effort. I wasn't overly confident they would win, but I thought they would show up and compete. Guess not. No heart at all.
Also, I have seen enough of QK. Dude looks completely lost out there, and has no confidence whatsoever. Put in Bawden asap.

Just wish I had not quit drinking. The betting dude that DSmith has on each week picked this game about right. He thought the 10-12 points were not enough. "SDSU will really miss Ruffin. It will cause D's to focus on Pumphrey."

Two years in a row the incumbant starter who took over the program the previous season and played well comes back and plays terribly the following season. QK hasn't been as bad as Dingwell was to start last year, but he's nowhere near as good as he was last season. He's clearly regressed. I don't get it. Once, it's a fluke. Two QB's in a row, though?

All the missed tackles from 2 weeks ago have not been addressed with the bye week. DBs not turning their heads in coverage. Just poor fundamentals. Coaching staff needs to get their $#!+ together.

Just not fair to 84 kids that are playing their ass off to be thrown under the bus by lack of coaching and a QB We lacked in talent all across the board. Not just at QB and the sideline.

Was planning on coming down from LA for next week's game, now not gonna happen. Think they will draw 20,000? Obviously you're an immense fan. We're really, really going to miss you.

That may be the case - but like last year, couldn't Sipe and Toledo recognize that their starting QB wasn't physically up to playing against the big time competition that they see in the early games? It seems like they're dead set on starting the incumbent, regardless of whether or not he's really physically capable of doing a good job.

I'm glad we don't have two weeks to bitch about this game. It was a stinker. Vegas is really bad, as is most of the MW.
9 - 3, not counting the 5th bowl game in a row. We've never done that.

The defense did not play bad at all (except for along streak of bad tackling) Mannion is a first rounder the offense was awful. NO Ezell and QK is not making the throws he did last year, its obvious his arm is shot. Rocky just ignored it again like with Adam. However we will likely go toa fifth bowl in a row and those of you who think Rocky will be gone are on Moroccan Hash. 106 yards passing wow. QK has two TD's six pics.

The way I see it, QK understood the O a whole lot better than all the others. The coaches hoped he could work into shape, which doesn't seem to be happening. QK or whomever is the QB next week, will have a far better chance against the D fronts in the MW.

After the first drive, the offense was horseplop, thereby forcing the defense to make stop after stop after stop after stop to try to keep us in the game. But then one would actually have to have a modicum of football knowledge to understand that and many here don't.

There's no way Rocky will get fired, but in going against all my morals, I would take Brady Hoke back as head coach and put Rocky back at defensive coordinator where he belongs.
I still think this team can win the MWC this year. The defense I think is ok, but for the offense we need to line up in an I formation with two tight ends and hand the ball off to Pumphrey 70 times a game with a few carries going to Price and maybe Q.K. can complete a couple 5 yard routes to the tight ends.
No, we will not be playing BYU again in the Poinsettia Bowl. They are ranked #21 and have better bowls to think about so stop feeling sorry for Max Hall when his mug shot gets posted on this board after he was arrested for shoplifting in Provo and possession of cocaine. He beat us in that Poinsettia Bowl! Nice Mormon. I hope he got crabs when he would go to Tijuana with all his other "moral" BYU players to have sex with hookers

On comes QK who played well last season and he too regresses the following season. I sense a trend Since this is QK's second go around, the opposition now has the book on him. Once the trick plays are exercised, he has to go back to traditional play and that's where they know his limitations. Toledo has to make a choice. Either limp along with QK or see if experience proves Bawden is the real deal.

The kid can't manage the clock or even a huddle, how many times did the clock tick down to :01 before the ball was put in play? QK is a deer in the head lights at the D1 level. We can't grow with Bambi, toss him aside. Our D would have only given up 14 pts if we didn't turn the ball over so often. Winning 6 MWC games doesn't make us better.
