Chargers will have been mathematically eliminated well before that.

Also has an outside chance at conflicting with the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead. WHY DIDNT THE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT THINK OF THESE ISSUES PRIOR TO AGREEING ON THIS DATE?!?!?
Sunday is also grocery and laundry day. Ugh.

More important has a TV station tried to televise the game back here .

Chargers will have been mathematically eliminated well before that. No they won't. This will kill ratings.

6 PM. Directly conflicts with Chargers vs Patriots on Sunday Night Football. It's a home game. Since the Chargers rarely sell out it won't be televised, so why worry?

That sucks... Of course the Chargers game will be sold out. Prime time game against New England.

Got hotel reservations in the U district. Can't wait. I emailed husky ticket office and they said single game tix would go on sale early to mid October FYI.

A lot of Charger haters on this thread. Like it or not, some people in San Diego really like the Chargers and the Aztecs.

The Chargers only had 1 black out last season and they also went 43 straight regular season home games without a blackout from December 2004 through the end of 2009. The black outs generally have as much to do with the horrendous layout of Qualcomm than they do with the Chargers.

FYI, half of the charger games last year were last minute sponsor bailouts and didn't sell out, including a national Monday night broadcast that would have been the first in history of Monday night. Nearly 9000 tickets were needed to be covered. Don't see that as much different than a Sunday night, especially when the Aztecs will keep some from buying. Hopefully they get the Toyota dealers and others to cover them this year. that said, my post was tongue in cheek.

Coach Fisher is a big Charger fan maybe he can move the MBB game up to an earlier start time so Aztecs can play and then still catch a plane ride home the same day
