He certainly passes the eye ball test. Imagine a front court with him and Cage! Of course, our coaching staff knows who they need to succeed. I will be curious to see if the Aztecs offer.

To my knowledge Hutson and other members of the staff talk with potential recruits to see if they have any interest in the Aztecs . If they say no , then they are realists and move on to guys that are . Not every one is sold on playing D . Being turned down because they are looking at Arizona, Kentucky , Duke , Kansas , UCLA , Louisville is going to happen .

Thon is one of the most highly recruited recruits in the nation - an unbelievable player & an almost certain lottery pick. We have a connection with Cage via history & local. I'm not even sure why this guy would be connected with SDSU?

As of now Thon - 7 ft Center,is as mentioned a top 5 player . The only true center in the top 15 players for 2016. He is from the East coast , we do not have a solid connection there , do not have a history for developing centers for the NBA and our best finish in MM is sweet 16 . So would guess he is going to be looking first at the big name schools . If he told the coaches that ,then fine and move on . If we could say now we will take M.Cage Jr ,then that is fine for me . sign him up .

SDSU is not a 1 and done program. One and done is up to the player.

If a player is good enough, what is wrong with one and done? I know it is not the same situation, but look at someone like Josh Davis. If someone can make a substantial impact, who cares if it is only for one year?

Kawhi Leonard - common Fish, have him be our Aztec advocate, we can do one and done or even two and done.

If someone can make a substantial impact, who cares if it is only for one year? I'm talking about incoming high school recruits that come and play for 1 year and then declare for the draft.
