But, at least we are on TV which can be seen. Or, would you rather be on a station that none of the the local TV cable systems carry?
I remember when I went to school none of our football, or basketball games were televised unless it was was against some big school which was not very often.

And no, I don't think the MW digital Network or ESPN3 count as being televised.

You are the one upset about it , not me. The TV companies are going to do what they want, and there is nothing you can do about it.

Anyone with a smidgen of technical acumen can watch every single SDSU game - that's a good thing. Much better than having to go find a bar with a jimmyjanked DISH that gets a blurry CBS College Sports 2 Espanol channel.

The Jessica Tandy set needs to realize that ESPN 3 is available to anyone who wants to watch it. Yes, Art Linkletter won't catch a game and then Aztec fever as he channel surfs from his craftmatic adjustable bed. The reason the Aztecs are on that channel is unfortunately nobody gives a $#!+ except those who have always given a $#!+. At least we die hards can watch the game anywhere without regional or cable provider restrictions. As soon as there is buzz. As soon as new, non- fans, people get interested in watching SDSU football we will get on a more accessible and widely available channel. Until that happens I would rather watch the game on an app than watch on a crappy pirated internets feed.

Google chromcast and an Internet connection allows you to watch ESPN3 on the tube.

Google chromcast and an Internet connection allows you to watch ESPN3 on the tube. Don't you need to have a partner cable provider? Direct TV subscribers are left out.

I'm going to say this here because I know he reads this board and probably has this thread bookmarked...
Mark, you are a douchey, snob journalist who has made a career in San Diego solely by writing negative articles.

Let's have a poll/vote to see if people agree with you.

My problem with ESPN3 is mainly that although college football fans like me tend to surf around for games to watch each Saturday, they surf broadcast television, not Roku. Therefore, although ESPN3 is fine for helping committed fans watch their team, it is useless for publicizing Aztecs football.

Zeigler does a great job of covering MBB . His comments are usually the same as Coach Fisher or the staff ,who see Zeigler as someone who also coaches HS BB in san Diego , regularly attends the practices and is a trusted part of the Aztecs. Zeigler is also one who has continued to challenge the MW director on several matters where the Aztecs have been slighted and Fisher is not allowed to say much .

Concur - we are lucky to get such great coverage form Mark Ziegler. And its all "free" if you have the right browser to read all UT articles. Yes he went to Stanford & loves the #1 undisputed sport worldwide Futebol.
Yes FIFA is more powerful than the NFL, American football is a "small" regional sport but I'm getting off topic.

ESPN3 is an ESPN experiment and is meant for the "little" guys with little screens who are probably catching a game during dead time doing something else. How many are going to watch a small screen for 3 hours away from home? Most snarky youths don't have the patience anyway. It bores the hell out of me and I'm a big sports fan.
