No way Largent doesn't start. A few other messages being sent. Wonder why they don't move Meredith back to tackle? Like the looks of the o line

Looks like we are a lot bigger all around than in years past. 315 pounds on the OL. Most of the LB's are around 6-2 or 6-3 and 230-250 pounds. No smurfs to be found.

Do we know when Christian Heyward is going to be back? From what I've read, he still needs to get back into playing shape (physically and mentally). He's been away from the gridiron for awhile. Oldie Out

I love the size at OL and LB. We haven't had that size at LB since Morrison, Allen, McCoy & co. from what I can remember. Our little LB's (Fely and others) have tons of heart and can hold it down but I love me some size

Do you think price gets the first shot as the power back vs Northern Arizona? I like him but I think That stamps has a massive upside and I think he and Donnel Make a Special Tandem the likes of which sdsu has never seen before.

Utah transfer Lucky Radley probably won't see the field that much. Was it really worth it?

would hope the Aztecs get up early on NAU and then let Price , Stamps get even more reps . Lucky is a walk on so did not get a scholarship . He may be involved on kick offs but I would prefer they use a guy with speed .

No way Largent doesn't start. A few other messages being sent. Yes. As an example, Austin Maass, who 247Sports rated as our best recruit in the 2012 class, is all the way down to #4 on the depth chart. Anybody know if he's injured or something?

Utah transfer Lucky Radley probably won't see the field that much. Was it really worth it? He's going to be one of our two KO return guys and probably in on a lot of 3rd down situations because he brings versatility the other guys don't have, plus he adds depth at RB in the event we have injury problems. So I'd say yes. Edit: Forgot to add that Ruben on ASR thinks Radley and Penny have both been looking better carrying the ball in practice than Chase Price. I guess you can take that with a grain of salt but it's apparent Ruben knows his stuff.

Linebackers need to be quick with versatility to rush the QB , stick RB's or even drop into pass coverage . Some of the younger LB's Melifonwu 6'5" 235 lbs. Seau 6'3" 260 lbs., Morris 6'3" 235 lbs., Punt returner want a guy that hangs on to the ball in traffic . Kickoff returner want guys that can hang on to the ball and speed to take it all the way . Usually good place to get a WR or quick RB involved .
Toledo in an interview Friday said he felt Price was doing a good job backing up D.P. but guess we will get answers Saturday .

Radley is a very good blocker for has size that alone will insure him more playing time and he has nice hands. Barrett is a wholly terror at nose tackle the potential of becoming like Jerome and La Roi were at tackle. Meredith is the pass rusher Sanchez the run stopper. The 4-2-5 should prove interesting.I suspect your going to see a shufle at runningback unless one of the guys behind DJ suddenly becomes hot.

Like the looks of the o line That's just a product of his being banged up,when they don't practice there put down on the chart, and when they get back for a week they go back up. With a linebacker with a hand down, essentially the same as a DE Meredith and Sanchez are tackles, well they wont be playing the three technique but still inside.

Man if Alex Barrett can become like a La Roi or Jerome Haywood that would be great! I see though that Barrett is 6'3" compared to Jerome being 5'10" (maybe). Jerome had that lower center gravity and was just a beast in the trenches. Excited to see the play of Barrett and his development.
