All depends on scholarships available . For 2016 as of today maybe 2 or 3 scholarships . Trying to get Cage as PF , have BJ , Cheatham ( does he slide to SF, who do you get for the person playing the 5 or C ? or is it BJ or do you try to land one ?

I like this kid over BJ right now, but BJ may have a higher ceiling. Soloman young is a scrappy player around the hoop and more like a Josh Davis type. He is every bit of 6'7" and 230. Rivals & Scout has him as a 4-star player, while ESPN has him at 3. He has offers from U Dub, UNM, USC, Tulsa and local CA schools, Davis, Fresno and Sacto. UCLA and Cal has drawn interest. Check out his video from May, 2014 Dream Vision. He is a beast! Another kid from Sacramento, CA. www.nbadraft.net/players/solomon-young

Aztecs are going to need to get a C or 5 position player to replace Spencer and Chol for 2016 . Not sure where they see both BJ and Zylan (PF or SF ) going forward into 2016 .

The Aztecs will have 4 offers out in 2016 (unless we sign a transfer) plenty of room for Cage, Kone, Stanback and Solomon.

After 26 games the kid is averaging 16 pts and 8.5 rebounds plus nearly 3 blocks a game. The team is 22-4

Believe UCLA has 3 verbals for 2016 . Arizona has Leaf . So the PAC is really doing a good job again of recruiting.

This from Rivals.com. I still like this kids work effort, attitude and tenacity. He played well in Las Vegas this weekend.
Solomon Young - The Houston Hoops were heavy favorites during their Las Vegas Classic playoff game with the Norcal Wildcats but nobody bothered to tell Young. The bruising and athletic power forward is slightly undersized at around 6-foot-6 and he was a monster for the Wildcats in their wire to wire win over the Hoops. He crashed the glass, scored with power and made a game winning play late when he gathered himself after a hard cut and found a teammate for a dagger three.

I like McDaniels significantly more. True more upside, but Young has a game like (Josh Davis + Tim Shelton)

Kicking a dead horse here, but Sacramento forward Solomon Young has been hearing from Iowa State and has set an official visit for late August, he also has an offer from UT and Shaka Smart.
I like his game, but he doesn't put up a lot of points. Hands like Kwahi, plays like Josh Davis, motor like JJ and he is from Sacramento.
Can someone tell me why our staff doesn't like him?

The only thing I can think of is that he's undersized for his style of play. He can beat up the high school kids through sheer physicality, but at 6-6 or 6-7, and not much of a perimeter game, I don't think he fits the long and lean profile that Fish likes. Chalk it up to versatility, can he play 3 positions on the defensive end? I don't see it. But I'm with you, there's something to be said for the kid who just gets ish done, in whatever manor.
