Looks aggressive on D today in the Adidas Super 64 Championship. He is playing for CA AAU's Dream Vision with Chase Jeter, Bennie Boatwright, Justin Simon (AZ) Soloman is a 6'7 215 F from Sacramento. 3-star ESPN, 4-star on 24.7Sports. Boatwright and Jeter will go to top D1 schools. Young is the 4th scoring option on this team, SDSU is on his list, is he own ours? He has offers from the UNM Lobos, USC, Tulsa, Sac St, LMU and UC Davis so far.

Your right 2016. He plays like Josh Davis, aggressive on D and around the rim.

Your right 2016. He plays like Josh Davis, aggressive on D and around the rim. When talking about Cage, Leaf and Collins, lets not forget this kid. He does all the fundamentals right. Rebound, blocks, defense, plays above the rim, could use a little more help with the jump shot!

Aztecs have also talked with E. Ekiyor -2016 Forward plays for CIA Bounce. Believe Leaf is a SF that looks as if he wants to play at Indiana . Do think Solomon could be solid contributor

Do think Solomon could be solid contributor I saw him play for the California Supreme AAU, he does all you need him to. Most of his points came from down low. He didn't get a lot of shots playing with Chase Jeter, Bennie Boatwright and Justin Simon. Physical player like Kawahi on D, same size but doesn't have those offensive skills, more like Josh Davis.

I continue to push this kid. #52 Rivals, PF/SF out of Sacto, he is becoming a bull and aggressive defender i.e: Kawahi-like. NOR CAL Basketball Friday September 13th, 2103. norcalbasketball.blogspot.com/2013/09/a-solomon-young-update.htmlPhilippe Doherty "Solomon is one of the most unselfish and low maintenance high major players in the country. His quiet demeanor should not be confused for he has a fierceness that fuels him every day to get better." "He is a high character kid who works relentlessly on his craft. He is always wanting to get better. He is one of the more skilled kids his size because he has put in the work." "We would be doing a dis-service to him if we did not train to be an inside out threat, and as evidenced this summer he was hitting 3's in our attacking pro style offense. Jeremy Russotti and our group want our players to be as skilled as they possibly can so they don't get stuck in college at one position." "Solomon will end his career as one of the best players to come out of Sacramento and one of the better players in the country in his class because of his humility, focused hard work, high character, low maintenance, and unselfishness. A truly great kid who any program in the country would welcome with open arms." Jeremy Russotti "Solomon's ceiling is as high as he wants to take it. I had him in our Green Room Training Program working with Josh Akognon (Memphis Grizzlies) and other pro and college players. Josh was very adamant how much he enjoyed working alongside Solo as a player and how he was 'one of us.'" "Solomon started in the spring and was just a big kid that had a low basketball IQ and didn't know how to use his body and strength. I firmly believe he is the most improved player in California and maybe the nation. He is extremely intelligent, and his game is expanding every week. It is going to be scary what his development will be like over the next 3 years. He has a shot to be one of the great ones."

If this kid likes to pass & rebound there's nobody better to be working with than Josh "Never Enough Shots for Me" Akognon. Sounds like a real promising prospect, and we definitely have the Sacto roots.

Young got an offer from Fresno State today. He is a 4-star kid who plays D and rebounds with the best of them. Go Aztecs.

Saw him play AAU during the summer with Jeter (Duke) and Boatwright (USC) the kid has a motor and is unselfish. The diaper dandies took all shots. His were on O rebounds and lay-ins.
