Hasn't played much today, looks like he has a brace or tape on his wrist. Maybe a minor injury.

Another loss for the horrible Hornets. Iso play and shooting 28.6% isn't going to cut it. Guard play was pathetic. As for JD, he finishes with 6 pts (2-5 FG, 2-5 FT), 16 rebounds (7 O, 9 D), 4 assists, 2 steals, 4 TOs. Unless the Hornets get their act together, the eye test doesn't look as good. At least, he got into the face of the guards to pass him the ball. Hope the coaches get this team functioning as a unit. Otherwise, I want to see JD get picked up by another team. I don't know if I want him on another team. He might not get as much playing time, or it might hurt his chances of making the roster if he does.

If someone like Joel Anthony can make the NBA, I'd think Josh Davis certainly can

Charlotte has a deep front court, but someone needs to pay that man his money.

Dude busts his ass and I hope he makes it. No one can match his hustle but if Malcolm can't make it i find it hard for Davis. They have arguably the same rebounding skills with Malcolm having the edge on blocking and offensive game.

Malcolm definitely has more tools than Davis, but Davis' body is more NBA ready than Malcolm's.

It will be a crime if Charlotte or any other NBA team does not sign Josh to a contract. He has shown more than enough to be a rebounding machine and a defender off the bench!

JD had his best offensive production against the Rockets with 18 pts (6-11 FG, 6-8 FT) along with 14 rebounds (6 O, 8 D), 1 assist, 1 steal, and 1 TO. Of all the games played, he was the most aggressive and more comfortable with his teammates. He was +20 and was surprised why Ewing sat him for the last offensive possession considering how valuable JD was in crashing the boards for easy putbacks.
I think JD did enough to showcase his hustle, defensive prowess and bball IQ to be picked up by a team. Hopefully, he gets on the right team with the right coaches to develop his stroke, midrange J, floater, and offensive game.
