Not sure who is right, but logic suggest that SDSU is no longer recruiting EA. We have one spot open and are waiting for Pflueger's decision. SDSU got an oral commitment (and recent visit) for someone who plays the same position. An oral commitment from Pflueger himself, or another recruit who is also a SG? I like clarity.
Same position as EA (i.e. Broderick Jones)

He probably means Hemsley. If one could combine the best aspects of Hemsley and Pflueger, the resulting player would be the #1 recruit in the country. They complement each other.

Yes, probably Hemsley. There's no other recruits beside Lovett and Grimes. If EA is out of the picture, we didn't make Grimes top 5 (PT issue?) Rex is the last of the known recruits. Looks like we're holding on to the extra chip.

Would guess there is no rush to add another recruit just for the sake of numbers ,if they are not on the Aztec wish /want list . Aztec coaches have a good opportunity to evaluate their current players , except Pope and Cheatham . To see what are the immediate needs for 2015. To my knowledge both Hemsley and BJ have stopped by this fall also .So as of now have 1 scholarship tucked away . Any word if E.A . did other visits or made verbal to Temple as some one presumed ?

I'm happy to hold on to that scholly, we don't have any glaring holes at this present time, and our transfers to date, minus James Johnson, have been pretty important pieces in our success. I've pretty much given up on Ernest, Buddah fills that role plenty fine, with a higher ceiling in my opinion.

This from a Philly Blog yesterday. Not a single mention of SDSU, but with the signing of Buddah Jones. Its case closed. I am curious to see where this kid lands; however, my bets are on Temple. "...With just a matter of weeks remaining until his looming college choice, Archbishop Carroll senior forward Ernest Aflakpui is taking a close look at each school that’s in his final grouping. Big 5 Temple and Saint Joseph’s were the first two official visits he took earlier this month, and over the next two weekends he’ll be visiting Virginia Commonwealth and Rhode Island. “What I’m looking at on the visits are the people, how I blend in with the people,” he said at a workout on Tuesday. That’s most important on his next two visits, to VCU and URI. Aflakpui has been on both campuses unofficially before, but during the summer when the two Atlantic 10 schools were fairly quiet. Going and seeing them during the school year will provide an entirely new look at things. “Their players were not in school, students were also not in school, so even though I got to see the schools, I don’t really know how it is when there are people in campus,” he said. “And I haven’t met the players, because those are going to be the guys I spend four years of my life with.” He’s already much more familiar with the two local schools, who’ve had the Ghana native on campus numerous times during his two years in the Philadelphia area. And both schools sit well with the 6-foot-9, 245-pound power forward: “I can’t mention all the good things because there’s a lot of good things that came out of the visit,” he said about his visit to SJU, adding it was the “same” for Temple. On his official visit to Temple, he was accompanied by already-committed Ewing (N.J.) shooting guard Trey Lowe and another one of the Owls’ top targets, Haverford School (Pa.) guard Levan Alston. At Saint Joseph’s, he would join a group that includes two other Catholic League products, Neumann-Goretti’s Lamarr Kimble and St. Joseph’s Prep’s Chris Clover. But while he would enjoy playing with any of the above as teammates, he’s looking at the bigger picture when it comes to his college choice. “They’re guys that I know, it would be fun being around them and stuff like that, but I don’t think that will affect my decision,” he said. “At the end of the day, I’m not going to be on a team with only two guys or three guys, it’s about 11 or 12 guys, so I don’t think their going to a school affects my decision.” There’s also one more school that could potentially enter the discussion. Saint Louis has made a late push for Aflakpui, though he’s still deciding on whether or not he’ll actually be visiting the school: “I don’t know if I’ll visit, I’m still researching about the school.” Once those four (or five) visits are over, expect a decision coming shortly thereafter. After a long journey of getting to this point, Aflakpui will becoming a Division I commit, fulfilling a dream he had when he got to the States two summers ago. “I think it will be soon, very soon after I make my visits,” he said. “When I look back, it went very quick. I just thank God that he has brought me this far...” cityofbasketballlove.com/2014/09/carrolls-aflakpui-getting-final-looks-at-schools/

if his mentor is still out here in San Diego , would not hurt to have him visit . Do we also have the ESPN practice on TV next week ?
