E.A. has said he was going to take his time , use his visits , wants to see the players and coaches in their normal routine to see where the best fit would be for him . Open recruiting is September through October , classes are in session so he can observe players, coaches and schools . Then make his thought out decision . He is in no hurry or the Aztecs . Who should have a better read on their current players .

Would guess the Aztec coaches will wait and see if he wants to come out for an official visit . Hold on to the scholarship until they can get some one they feel fills a need for the team . There is no rush to add another .scholarship . If 4 guys leave , the remainder of the guys come back and the 2 HS guys sign ,the team will have 11 scholarship players . Quality over quantity

Most visits do not start until August and open recruiting lasts through October . If he is thorough he will want to visit the various Universities after school starts , so he can see the campus , players and coaches in their normal routine . Key will be if he has us on his official list of visits . Feel the Aztec coaches have a legit contact with his mentor in San Diego to say if he is still considering SDSU . To me if the coaches think he is a guy we want then you hold a scholarship for him until he says we are not on his list . Whether we get him or not, one thing is clear. When recruits are able to walk inside the completed practice facility, that'll be the game changer.

I'm not sure of the exact timeframe, but Ernest went home to Ghana to see his family, so you're not going to hear much on the recruiting front for good reason. The only update I can give you, which is not really out there, is that Shaka/VCU are making a big push for Ernest. Temple and St. Joe's, of course, still are too.

When recruits are able to walk inside the completed practice facility, that'll be the game changer. They will be breaking ground on the Jacobs Jam center in a week and half. Prospective players on visits in the late winter and early spring will be able to tour the yet unfinished facility. Seeing the drawings is nice but seeing the place in the process of actually being built will make more of a statement because it is more tangible to the kids. They will know that the place will be ready when they get here.

Has there been some work on the site but an actual ceremony due the end of the month ? From the comments E.A has said in the past ,he wants to actually see , talk to and spend time with the players and coaches to get a proper read on the schools and where he will be attending school. Do not think the smooth talking coach is the one who will be his choice but where he feels most comfortable . He could be a guy who may make a decision in November or even hold off until the spring .

Winning is very important too. Repeated trips to the Sweet 16 can be of great benefit too.

Has he been on any of his official visits - something he said He wanted to do before he made any decision . On the other hand Aztecs have a variety of guys they are looking at for 2016 .

No, he went home to Ghana to see his family for the first time in a few years. He hasn't been active on the recruiting front.

Agree would be worth having him out here for a visit to see if it is a fit for him and the Aztecs . If not hold the scholarship for 2016

If he has decided to stay on the East Coast ,then wish him the best . But believe he still has at least 1 more official visit if he chooses to add one to the West Coast .
