These "experts" can't predict where every player goes. They do a pretty good job for the most part. They know the top 3 schools that are in the running and for that kind of info u gotta pay for a subscription.

Ernest needs to return to SD this summer, meet his future team mates, and reflect upon the opportunity to get past the sweet sixteen with them.

Believe a lot could be dependent on if Coach "Ku" still is a mentor for E.A . Kwaku Amoaku is an assistant coach at Miramar College , AAU coach at Coastal Elite, whose parents are also from Ghana , helps run African Youth Basketball Organizations . Last year he was a mentor for E.A and brought him over to meet with the Aztec coaches as previously mentioned in M. Zeigler's article in the UT back in spring . Have no clue if he is still a mentor for E.A

The 2015 recruiting class Ernest would be joining is Jeremy Hemsley 6'4" SG (4 star 247sports, Rivals, Scout and ESPN) along with Small Forwards 6'7" Cameron Walker or 6'8" Nate Grimes. Coach Hut will work some magic with the big men. If any of these guys fall through the transfers will be knocking on Coach Fisher's door. Honestly a transfer may be a good choice for 2015 to open up the log jam on the roster moving into the future.

Plan A: recruit the targeted kids Plan B: (if targeted kids go somewhere else) go with handpicked D-1 transfers begging to join the Mesa

Hey guys, new to the board and a lifelong Aztec. Coach Ku is very much still involved as Ernest mentor, and is very close with coach Hut. Temple is high on his list, but Ernest loves San Diego and also has a couple of friends from Ghana living out here which put us high on his list. Ku has another kid out here, who the Aztecs are all over named Abdul. Hes going to be a junior this year and was playing for Coastal Elite until he enrolled at Balboa Prep. Aztecs are number 1 on his list so far, and as of now, i think hes a more realistic get. Hes 6'8 with broad shoulders and incredible bounce. Still raw offensively but has a motor that doesnt stop and is a monster defensively. To compare him to a recent Aztec, think Billy White with more upside.

The next three weekends (Wednesdays 5pm - Sunday 5pm ) , high school guys can work out at approved events or in their high schools, throughout the country Reebok is sponsoring one in Philly this weekend ,also Adidas in Chicago and Lebron-Nike in Las Vegas . There are 3 more next weekend and three the last weekend . Up to four coaches per school can be out watching guys perform , do not think they can talk with the HS recruits but can watch them perform and evaluate . Trust Aztec coaches will be out watching the various guys including the event in Philly where Aflakpui may be .
