Mine was generic. Apparently it's ok to be openly anti-religious here. Any religion. We should keep it on topic. Sent from my DROID RAZR using proboards I feel like I was on topic. People here were criticizing Adam's beliefs and actions when their religious beliefs are just as crazy...they just don't let their craziness be public for the most part. In your previous posts, you mocked all religious people as crazy, then repeated it. That's off topic and violated Aztec forum rules. Mods don't seem to mind though. Sent from my DROID RAZR using proboards How exactly is that different from all the people in this thread calling Adam crazy for his beliefs? Huh? You didn't see me doing that, did you? I can understand if people desire to criticize his decision-making and try to reason why he seems to have abruptly changed his life-long plans. It is another completely different thing to them use that as an opportunity to make wholly separate statements about people in general all being "crazy" because they believe in some religion. I simply took issue with that as it seemingly violates Aztec mesa policy and had intended on leaving out at that before you all questioned my response, called me out and engaged me. I hadn't intended on going on but again and further derail the thread but you asked me a question so I again answered it. You're always welcome to use pm too. I'll state publicly that I have religions beliefs and am far from crazy. Some of you seem pretty bothered by religion and I recommend that instead of using the Aztec Sports thread to spread your hate and fear when the opportunity presents itself that you instead use the "culture and values" forum here and have at it... To recap:
1) It's ok to call somebody crazy for believing in Lord RayEl.
2) It's against AztecMesa policy and you should be banned if somebody makes the same statement about your religion.

For some reason he can't seem to understand that. You can't say in one sentence that calling religious people crazy is against policy and then not say anything about all the other people singling out Adam as crazy.

Sent from my DROID RAZR using proboards Yes, this is not the right forum for a religious debate. It evolved into one. The thing that "bothers" me about religion it is used to spread hate and fear. That is why I am actually a fan of this Pope even though I am not Catholic, he lives and leads by example. Did anyone actually say a specific religion? And why to religious people always act like a victim if questioned about their beliefs?

Why are we making a deal of this and some people playing devil's advocate just to try and prove a point/argue?
Muema clearly has some issues that go beyond religion. He had a real shot at the NFL before all of the strange behavior such as Lord RayEl speaking to him and telling him not to go to the combine, saying that God wants him to play for the Seahawks (as if God gives a sh** about football), all of the bizarre tweets, etc.
It's obvious there are some issues there, so calling someone a little nuts for doing what he did is completely justified. Bashing everyday religions that many people practice without losing their minds is stupid, ignorant, and offensive, and they should be warned if not banned. Have some common sense.

I guess we've found our new arbiter for determining which beliefs are sane and which aren't...But of course Lord RayEl telling Adam not to go to the combine is so much more nuts than someone's religion telling them not to eat certain foods on certain days or the various other restrictions that are imposed.

He thought God spoke to him and said he must play for the Seahawks. I think God has bigger fish to fry than focusing on a recreational activity. Have you read his twitter? Be a realist and exercise some common sense. If you actually think he has no issues then you must not have been following this situation very closely. Even his friends and family were worried about him

Nobody had anything to say when Thames thanked god in every post game interview. That was just fine because everybody knows Jesus loves jump shots. Something tells me you guys would have reacted differently if Adam thanked RayEl after a big game. OMG HE IS CRAZY DID YOU SEE HIS YOUTUBE!! // Sent from my GS4 //
