Saw him beat Trey Kell and Saints at the TP classic. Nice player quick, strong and good shooter.

I'm not certain Kendall Small actually fits the Steve Fisher mold...(only 5' 11"...albeit very fast)
Coach usually likes tall, quick guys with long arms who can match up with taller guards...
...but what do I know?...
I leave all personnel decisions to our coaches and staff (not like my phone is ringing off the hook with anyone asking my opinions anyways)...
It's their world...and I'm just happy they let me watch...

I see he is a 4-star 2015 PG. Does anyone have anything of interest they could tell us about this recruit? Or maybe someone has seen him play? It seems like if Oregon, Gonzaga and Creighton have offered him he must be pretty good. Speculation on our chances?

how long are his arms? wingspan is often more important than height. that's why julius randle's draft stock isn't higher than it is. that's why the aztec d is so effective now

also if we're talking nate robinson or allen iverson talent/quickness you take him even if he's small .
you'd take either of those guys on your team right?

I think Kendall Small just took a sizable jump up the priority list with Barefield committing to SMU. I like his game, although I've always been partial to a bigger PG like Thames and DJ. D'Erryl Williams has great size but will only have the summer to figure out the PG role, and how to actually put the ball in the hole every once in a while, don't believe he has more than a couple points this season.
With Zabo, I don't think anybody outside the coaches really know what we're getting. Limited access to stats and video, and practically a world away. Hoping for the best, just haven't heard much in regards to his game.

Small would be a great get pure and simple. Don't worry about height with him he will be a very good college player.

The PG situation at SDSU is the biggest ? for 2014 and beyond . X will be gone. Does AQ gets scholarship and stay for 1 more year, Zabo gets opportunity to play more PG in HS and AAU . D. Williams does he stay . If guys leave is there a senior transfer PG or JUCO if needed . A lot of moving parts
