Not exactly 100% we are going to be there.
Aresco said on Tuesday that representatives from San Diego State would be at the meeting in Dallas. “As far as I know, they plan on being there,” said Aresco on Tuesday afternoon.
What worries me, is that whenever he talks about us, it's always, "As far as I know..."

Because after Boise left, he can't really say anything about is with certainty.

According to sources familiar with the negotiation process involving SD State, as well as the ongoing television contracts in basketball and football that Aresco and the Big East are conducting, Aresco is also closing in on a multi-network deal with Fox sports, ESPN and NBC/Comcast. The total money figure is in flux because Aresco is working on multiple deals and packages.Sounds a little more ambitious than giving out bonus money.

So, Schroeder from USA Today (previously CBS, hence which sources I imagine he got this info from) said Eliot H and Jimbo S. (and I imagine council) were in the mountains today reviewing mwc contracts and will likely be in Dallas on Friday. Also, Blauds. reports that Mike Therestgo is closing in on a deal with ESPN/Fox/NBC. Hopefully it all ends next week.

I don't believe any report that cites us as "SD State." ... that is all.

I would expect Sterk to be there. It's not like getting back into the MWC is a done deal. Remember, these redneck presidents negotiate out of spite instead of what's best for their school and conference.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with bonus money. BM may be bad to you, but to us, it's well-earned revenue. /s/ Bob Kustra

300 Mill, damn Aresco had balls. Or he's just that clueless I don't know about that. If you don't ask, you don't get. I asked one night. And the next morning I ending up thanking Jesus. Besides, you seriously don't want him going in asking for $10 mill for the whole conference do you? Leave that to Hair and Company. They have that tactic down pat.
