This is the dumbest argument on the planet. J'ville would beat Alabama 50-10 Yoda out... . Actually, I have- in person. On numerous occasions. And even both sides of the aisle could agree on that. Including reps from Alabama

I think Bama can probably give the NFL's worst team a good game. Oldie Out This is the dumbest argument on the planet. J'ville would beat Alabama 50-10 Bama wouldn't be able to move the ball against any NFL team. It wouldnt even be fair. there's a huge difference in being 20 years old and playing college ball, and being 25 - 30 years old and playing professional football.

The argument is so "Scott Kaplan-ish". I remember years ago when Drew Brees was first playing with the Saints- who weren't that good at the time, and Kaplan asked Brees if (I don't know who was the worst team at the time, but lets say Buffalo) Usc (#1 at the time) could beat the Bills in a head to head game. Both Brees and Billy Ray laughed at it. Kraplan asked what the score would be, and Brees said something like "63-7". There shouldn't be any comparison between NCAA and NFL football. Can't remember which talking head brought it up again this year, but they were laughed down too.

Agreed, but OSU is almost as good as Alabama.

This qualifies B-Y-who as capable of beating a low lying NFL team.

I think Willie Taggert of WKU said it in a press conf the week of their game vs. Bama.

I would say the average is around 24-26 years old. Now, think about how much growth takes place within those given years of an athlete. With all that considered, they still have a hard time competing at a high level. Imagine if they could recruit with the big boys? They would be unstoppable.

The bad thing about playing for the Tide is taking the pay cut when you go to the NFL. Hang in there, Matt

A football roadie to Tuscaloosa would have been fun. Not in early September it wouldn't be. Ick. Athens, GA in mid-October almost made me pass out with the humidity.
