As well stocked as we are at other positions, the all important OL is the biggest potential falloff or at least biggest challenge . Replacing Embernate and Johnson is not do-able, but maybe their replacements will come on toward the second half. I'm thinking we'll have to pass much more this year, regardless of the Muema factor. Looking forward to see what we have at C and RG this spring.

Plus Embernate was the main puller on powers so his replacement is important

Learning how to pull isn't all that difficult if you're athletic and the athleticism of the new guys blow away what we've had here over the last decade. Learning how to make calls at the line for a center is as tough as learning how to read defenses for a QB. Siragusa for example is larger (not near as strong right now) than Embernate and significantly more athletic.

Great write ups on the various positions. Believe Aztecs have added verbals from TE and WR, but nothing is official until LOI. Of the players are any early enrollees who can play spring ball

You do write some outrageous stuff once you get your position set in concrete. Yes, I'd wager he gets drafted. That's kind of a DUH. Higher than you presume as well.

One bad game doesn't erase how well he played in the other seven.

One bad game doesn't erase how well he played in the other seven. And as Hewitt noted, terrible field position resulting from failure to have anybody back to field two consecutive YBU punts from inside our territory was a killer.

Hewitt, could you do articles, about the coaching staff, positions they coach, areas of the country or state they recruit and a history. Thank you for the very thorough articles.
