They keep calling Aztecs for charges and then calling blocks when our guys try the same thing on the other end. Aztecs punking them and their refs anyway.

I can look at the refs as one of the main reasons we lost this game, I'm not ashamed to say that. There were some unbelievably bad touch body foul calls, 2 on JJ where he the Arizona player was literally untouched, and an atrocious blocking foul on Jamaal that was a blatant charge. Those FTs cost us the game.

I can look at the refs as one of the main reasons we lost this game, I'm not ashamed to say that. There were some unbelievably bad touch body foul calls, 2 on JJ where he the Arizona player was literally untouched, and an atrocious blocking foul on Jamaal that was a blatant charge. Those FTs cost us the game. And the missed layups and dunks and short jumpers in the first half.

Agreed, but I don't want to hear that cliche "Don't blame the refs" mantra that some people like to throw out there. They always play a role that is mitigated by making the right calls.

Arizona was clearly pampered by the officials in this game. Even officiating and we win by eight. I loved Miles Simon's reactions to the calls, classic.

Bottom line is the blown calls in favor of Arizona cost SDSU the game. We can pretend it didn't if you all would like, but the difference in the way charge/block was called on each end was THE determining factor in the game.
