Would have been a great get. Bummer. That said, his "camp" can drop all of the "brand doesn't matter" and "he wants to be recruited by his position coach" nonsense. It's fair to say that was a load of horseshit. You don't remember what happened with Mustafa Jalil? Same thing. Oldie Out Aztec Kharma is a b!*$h. Jalil v Meredith, both '11 recruits. Nuff said.

Somehow I got a Twitter message in my email and one of the things was to "follow" this kid. I clicked on it and from his last few "tweets", it does not look like he has made up his mind. Don't know how that happened since I almost never look at Twitter.

It really doesn't matter because Seau essentially took his spot and looking at film and 18 freaking sacks and where each is right now Seau>>>>Victor and it isn't even close.
My issue is more with the character of kids these days. In the world I live and work in, character counts and people will do background checks on you and will see this type of action for what it is. These guys have to remember that EVERY decision they make will stay with and affect them the rest of their life.
If someone is entrusting with you their money let's say, they will look at your past actions to see how you acted when presented with alternative choices. Will you take the road that benefits you and might be easy or will you take the hard road and honor your word and do what you said you would even if it means putting yourself in a more detrimental position. Everything you do in your life is cumulative and your actions will be viewed as a reflection of your character.

Sorry, but I would probably think less of an adult who would hold a grudge against a 17 year kid for switching commitments more so than the kid himself. You all take this stuff way to personal and way to serious. It's his prerogative to change his mind. It's all part of the game and no employer will ever hold it against him. He never signed anything. There is acertain level of dishonesty with this guy that I suspect comes from his father.. the fact is he committed to Washington two weeks ago and kept it on the sly. If your going to change your mind it is OK but if you then put another school on hold thinking it has its recruit at that position well thats anther story,
Also the position coach stuff is crap they plan on using him at de,Tosh Lupoi will be his coach,He might no know that yet, all the more ironic. He as just preserving his place while they got it together to present his films to Pac 12 etc. Also most likely a non qualifier took his last shot at the ACT. Washington offer is contingent upon his passing it. I just wish Tony White would call him out on it politely and wish him well. Please no more comps to basketball games wine and dining
Much Ado about nothing.

coaches can contact recruits but are not able to comment on them until they sign a LOI So coach White can not say anything. With the current system ,players Verbal commit, is that just a statement by them ? or ..... Is it the same when you "De - Commit" . How does it become official or is it all unofficial until LOI- for both the University and the recruit ?

Kids learn character from their parents and you can tell from ASR links and the like that if it was up to Victor's father, the kid would be an Aztec. So to repeat, he's an 18-year-old who's seeing the bright lights of Seattle and that's pretty much it. I can't say I would have viewed things any differently at his age.

There is acertain level of dishonesty with this guy that I suspect comes from his father.. I think you're confusing him with Vaughn, who surprisingly hasn't decommitted yet. There's still two months for him to do so, however . . .
