Not "is better" but "should be" or "will most likely be." There are a lot of factors that need to come together first. Is he in game shape? Has he gelled with the team chemistry? Is there team chemistry? Time will tell but it isn't yet "exponentially better" - at least not yet. Yes it is. It might be but until it is on the court, it is merely a potentiality. It may take a while to gel for all we know.

He is ever present, as are his opinions. I have one too, and am free to make my counterpoint. Teams are more than a collection of players and their individual skills. They need time to come together, to gel, to become better. I know that BBA thinks more like Alan Iverson, I don't. Sometimes stars don't make teams better. Look what happened to the Knicks after Anthony and Stoudemire returned, were they better as a team? Hell no. Why not? You know the answer. Shabazz doesn't immediately make the team better. He may, perhaps but more likely will take a little time to have the impact. Show me, don't tell me. Don't be like a UNLV fan...

The "Gang of 64 +1" gets their way with NCAA BB too. The deck is stacked!

At the very least he gives UCLA an ultra athletic G/F with a motor similar to Jamaal's. This gives them more depth and versatility. At the most, he gives them the best player in the country. He doesn't conflict their team by creating a log jam. They don't have anyone that can do anything close to what he does. I don't know how anyone can argue or speculate that he doesn't make UCLA better.

Shabazz Attorney: "He just wants to play basketball and go to school and thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours have been invested in determining if he can play," Orr said.
I find it odd that the NCAA would not let him play over $1,600, but it's okay for "thousands of dollars" to be spend in efforts so that he can play. It makes me think there were much bigger issues than the $1,600.
