It looks like he is going to commit live at 4pm on ESPNU. I wonder what hats will be on the table. Is there a source for this? I can't find one online... Here's a link regarding the ESPNU announcement. When is the last time that SDSU received a televised commitment from a recruit? Mike Grimala @mikegrimala UNLV target Isaac Hamilton will announce his decision tomorrow live on ESPNU at 7 p.m. (EST). twitter.com/MikeGrimala

Hamilton's recruitment Can UTEP steal these boys? It's one of those recruitments where possibly only the coaches and the family know. Props to them. That GIF says it all. No one was expecting it to get this crazy this fast. His recruitment flipped upside down in a matter of months, if not weeks...

I saw this on twitter too. Im a little confused how UCLA is the frontrunner based off of what he said in his recent interview. He said he wanted a coach he could trust. Ben Howland hasn't been a very good coach in recent years. Conflicting reports from all teams...I think I know where he'll land, but I wouldn't be surprised if I'm wrong. And Rebel fans hate you Rebls18 not because they're "Rice homers" but because you constantly bash Marshall and want to bench him for a 17 yr old freshman PG. Also you say some of the stupidest $#!+ and troll your own. Now stop being a scrub and making our fan base look bad. Thanks brotha. What is your hunch? You're one of the better rebel fans, you don't come to gloat. Its appreciated.

I never bash Marshall, I question a converted SG being able to properly facilitate (something he's struggled with last year as a reserve PG and this year against UCLA/Dixie) over a pure PG. Once again you homers just hate objectivity. Atleast I'm not a aztec kiss ass like you.

The Big West move will have a minimal impact on recruits. It's overblown as an issue and further conference realignment is not far off, IMO.

Your opinion is irrelevant. Your level of education however, is very much so. The Aztecs will be perennial top 25 for the foreseeable future. The staff can evaluate talent and the OOC schedule will more than compensate for the impact of the bottom-tier Big West schools. I'm not convinced the Aztecs will be in the Big West for more than a few seasons. At which point, this debate is meaningless.

Or Greg Anthony..Difference was Issac and Greg made the conversion early in their college careers as opposed to Marshall whose just now primary playing the PG position in his senior year...With just 1 offseason of grooming to run an up-tempo offense. A big reason why UNLV has had such great recent recruiting success is the style of play they opt to play.. It's often the first thing recruits mention when they discuss UNLV: "running"--So if it's so attractive for recruits why don't all schools "run" up-tempo? Reason: It's extremely difficult. Running a slower halfcourt system is the easier option to coach, requires less conditioning, limits turnovers, and it's just easier on college-level athletes. The jury is still out, but despite being a phenomenal athlete and competitor, Marshall has struggled to properly facilitate the offense and that could be this team's Achilles's heel.

I'm confident because Steve Fisher has turned this program from a doormat to a regional powerhouse and national relevance. That isn't going to die with a conference switch. The Aztecs will dominate in the Big West, there will be marquee games to be played. Dakarai Allen and D'Erryl Williams are just the next players in line in what will continue to be solid recruiting classes. You've been a fatalist ever since this has been announced. All the Aztecs have to do is make the NCAA tournament year in and year out. After that, it doesn't matter what conference you belong to. The Aztecs will be perennial top 25 for the foreseeable future. why are you confident about this? incorrect, we've been over this where do we go?

At the time Darin Johnson signed with Washington, it appeared that Hamilton was a lock for SDSU. I think it was because of Hamilton that we lost out on Johnson. I am very disappointed in Hamilton, he visited SDSU at least 5 times, came to Midnight Madness etc. UNLV is up to no good, no way they can draw that many elite recruits, something smells fishy over there. Furthermore, Hamilton says he is a Christian and he picks UNLV? Does not make sense to me.

If he picks UNLV then so be it. Best of luck to the kid... No need to take things personally or knock him for it. If he feels it's best to go elsewhere, it's his decision.
You gotta think DW signing with us played a big part in this, as he seems to have cooled on us right after he committed.
