When will it be announced that we are their opponent? You don't live in SD any longer, you need to catch up on waz up. Recommend you call 78/82, or your farthest living relative. No, actually, don't call him

We can't go around being afraid of these guys anymore. Time to start beating them . . . to a pulp.

If you truly hate someone, you always want to play them.. and rip their guts out. It's called a rivalry. We've forgotten what one of those is in football.

The thought of 75,000 people at the Bywho vs. US in the Poinsettia gets ol' AF1 near to quivering. Oh, Lordie, let it be so!

I checked ticket master if we are going to the poinsettia bowl I would suggest to get tickets now. I went through sdsu two years ago and got stuck with end zone seats

The Poinsettia Bowl would be fun, however, playing in the Vegas Bowl would be better for SDSU, even if SDSU had many more fans for the Poinsettia Bowl
* Potentially playing a ranked Pac-12 team that may not be motivated to be there: currently 6 teams are in the BCS top-25 * Better for SDSU Future Bowl games: SDSU will sell lots of tickets to Vegas. That means lots of SDSU fans will travel to Vegas. When we get to the Big East next year, all of the bowl games will require significant travel: St. Petersburg, Fl (Beef O' Bradys), Charlotte, NC (Belk), Orlando (Russell Athletic), New York (Pinstripe) & Birmingham (BBVA Compass). If SDSU hopes to not be relegated to an "at-large" type bowl game, it's best that SDSU would have a recent example of traveling to a non-San Diego location to encourage a bowl game to pick us in the bowl pecking order. (We did not travel well to New Orleans last year, however, that could be explained away with the short notice and high travel prices if SDSU fans travel in mass to Vegas) * A new bowl experience for the seniors. They've played in the Poinsettia already, and have been to New Orleans. Vegas would be another experience for them.

BYU students and alumni are already getting emails about ticket information. As you know BYU travels extremely well, and there are tons in SoCal. Once tickets are available I hope SDSU and the city can show up. It's a big deal.

Having re-thought it, the mere fact BYU students and alumni are getting contacted about ticket info doesn't mean BYU supporters are already able to purchase tickets. Seems to me it would be patently unfair for the Binky Bunch to start selling tickets to one school before the other has a similar chance to buy them.

You can bet your a$$ they are selling tickets now - just look on their website. Those BYU emails are going out to probably pre-sell BYU's allotment of tickets.

SDSU may not play BYU again for a long time. I say play 'um and win. We'll likely be in the same league in 2014.

they are number four in total defense. Bad match up, We can barely throw the ball and you can not run it on them, with no passing game look at their game with Boise state and Utah state, etc and so on. This game if we win will be 3-0.
I would rather face a team with with a good offense and poor defense or mediocre one. 10 points will win it.

So how's it goin', Hugh? How are the wives? Hmmm...well, ok. Found out one secretly voted for Obama, so I had to kick her out! Looking forward to playing SDSU in the Poinettia Bowl...pretty fun. I got a kick out of the likely opponent, and had to come over here to say 'hello'. I knew it would go over like a lead balloon. SDSU has done what BYU couldn't do...win at Boise. So...seems like SDSU has a great shot at BYU this year, hometown team, BYU's offense can be pretty enemic sometimes. We do have a decent defense though that should keep us in any game. When do you know if you are a lock for the game?

If SDSU isn't invited until two weeks from now, BYU may have already bought up all the best seats. if the aztec ticket office is managing the process, you've got a justified fear!
