From Agustin Gonzalez's twitter: 2013 point guard D'Erryl Williams says he has an official visit to #SDSU scheduled for Oct. 12, the weekend of Midnight Madness. This Midnight Madness event is hopefully going to be a great showcase of the school and program....and hopefully great for recruiting too!

Agreed, and very interested to see how the school/program goes about organizing and promoting the event. Not a lot of experience with such an event.

no one else is really bothered by this... what's your real reason for this tyrade? I want to get this thread back on subject, so this will be my last response. First of all, I didnt bring it up. But when I see him trying to talk kids into doing these reports, being passive agressive when they dont get back to him, it comes across a little creepy. He wants hits so bad on his website that he will literally beg the kids. Thyey are literally 15 and 16 years old. Let them be. Also, I dont think its fair to the player to do evaluation pieces on players you have never seen play. If you're going to do this, at least state that in the piece. Anyways, like I said, he seems like a nice guy. I just wish he would go about promoting his website in a different manner. Don't you think it is disingenuous to hijack a thread and then when you get called out on your obviously off the mark, why do you care, comments you conveniently try and drop the subject - after you have assassinated Maddiesdad's character? What YOU did was wrong dirtball. I find the analysis by Maddiesdad the best source that I consistently read on possible future Aztec basketball players. I look forward to his analysis and insightful articles on recruits. Keep them coming please. Go Aztecs!

ESPN rankings will probably catch up with their hype machine, which seems to be stuck paying tolls on the turnpikes, bridges and tunnels.

Secondly, I answered the questions about why I care. Didn't run. Thirdly, im glad you love reading info that comes from somone that never seen them play. I know now not to ever value your opinion, because obviously you're a puppet. I should start a websiite with fake evaulations, you will be my best follower. I get it, you don't want to pay for subscriptions so you like these fake evaluations, its just funny that you don't care how he gets them. Assinating someones character includes lieing, I haven't done that. You're just mad that the producer to your free info is gettin called out.

From Dawgman.com: What do you think of this? Posted: Today 7:32 AM Darin Johnson really down to two? - Ducks or Huskies? This is from 17 days ago, but he says the Ducks are his favorite right after visiting them but he didn't commit. The following site shows he's "warmest" toward Oregon and Washington. Looks like San Diego State is out of it since he already had his official visit there and is "colder" toward them. He's listed with no interest in AZ and he's dropped Marquette. You get the impression he will choose between the Ducks and Huskies. 247sports.com/Player/Darin-Johnson-22777?pi=36047

They said the same about Dakarai when UCLA offered---everyone considered him gone and then BAM! In reality, nobody knows which way a recruit is leaning other than direct relatives. Hell, at this point I still think we have a chance at getting Pelle. Doh!

Hell, at this point I still think we have a chance at getting Pelle. Doh! Ummm not when a recruit tells multiple websites that Washington and Oregon is leading. SDSU was still thought of as the serious favorite when UCLA offered Dakarai and he made it clear. All that being said Darin's favorites have changed so many times you can't even rule out Texas A&M.

He may change his thinking when he realizes that the Robinson Bros. are two more of him.

He just came off his visit from them, so I don't think it's unusual for him to state that. Let's see how/if things change after he visits again in a few weeks. Does this now mean we've been focusing more on Isaac?

I would think the Robinson twins commitment to Oregon would definitely give Johnson second thoughts. That would be a lot of guys in the same class with similar skill sets.

They made it clear they would only go somewhere that would let them play hoops and football.

Does this now mean we've been focusing more on Isaac? BTW, Hamilton. Johnson & Gordon trip to WA Thursday the 27th, they will be in the ClLink for the husky FB game vs. Stanford. The huskies have called for a blackout & will be wearing those awful black uniforms with the purple numerals! I guess I'm pulling for a Stankford win.
