i think only two things make you a worse fan than others 1) complaining about other people standing/cheering/doing anything 2) leaving your seats early 3) Befriending other teams fans

I'm curious as to what your definition of a "Blue Hair" is. Any fan who has told somebody in front of them to sit down for normal cheering. Or anybody who has agreed with said blue hair. So like 85% of the non-students. ..Sent from my Samsung GS3.. So really they could have brown, red, black, blonde etc. colored hair ,right?

8:30 start means a 10:30 end. Long Padres games end about then.
That game is listed without TV. I assume this means it is being picked up?

I assume that you have gone to SDSU. Surely they didn't teach you to paint with such a broad brush. "Old people dude, old people."Could you mean people that have been supporting SDSU since before you were born? Do you mean people who 50 years ago were athletes at SDSU. Do you mean veterans from WWII, Korea, Vietnam? People who just might have a handicap that doesn't allow them to stand up, sit down, stand up, sit down. Do you call your parents or grandparents names? Instead of calling all old people out you might just describe the behavior that so chapped your ass. That's it for me.

And I was complaining about 730 pst start times last year. Here's to a couple 2am nights staring at a crappy feed. Lady year Comcast actually had quite a few of the games televised.

These aren't seventy year old war veterans who can't get out of their chair. They are perfectly able grumpy people who complain about people cheering at a sporting event. They probably bought a house near SDSU and complain about the noise on the weekends. You think that lame attempt at a guilt trip by referencing the minority (who in this case don't apply) is going to work? Furthermore, even if somebody was in said condition it wouldn't matter. Standing and cheering at a sporting event during a big is a perfectly normal thing to do. I'd hope somebody who served this country or was a SDSU athlete would appreciate the pride others would feel for the university and not try to suppress it. F*cking old people. ..Sent from my Samsung GS3..

Then again I'm 31 and what I find to be funny probably doesn't resonate with the hipster youth. ..Sent from my Samsung GS3..

Lath 19 should think before making such asinine generalizations. As a "Blue Hair" who has had season tickets while living in Long Beach and then Oakland and made most of the Football games and a goodly number of Basketball games for over 35 years, I'd like to add a big "f x x x you" to Lath 19. Sent from my keyboard to his Samsung GS3 (which, from the quality of his messages, is apparently lodged in his Ass).

Most believe in craft skills and engage in cool trade for a living. Then there are the under 30 hipsters that have no skills and spend their time crackin on people and engaging in irony. The fact hat they live off mom and dad and then mock hardworking middle class people by "rocking" mechanic shirts and drinking pants blue ribbon makes me sick. Done venting.

So you played water polo at state, fought in vietnam and don't like standing up and sitting down, oh and you have grandchildren.

Wow, a lot of unexpected animosity in this thread. As for me the late start just means more Sculpins at Effins for my pregame. Gonna be a lot of wasted drunks at this one. Hopefully I'll be one of them...might have to mix in a shot of tequila. Not sure how much standing I'll be doing during the game with all that in me.
Old people wake the f**k up! Young people show some god d**n respect!
