Yes. The three new teams and Long Beach and Santa Barbara are a good core.

This is hot off the presses and broadcasting from Baja to Seattle. Is anyone listening? I am dying here. San Diego State fans please call in. Insiders at UCLA are saying the Bruins want out of the PAC 10 and want to move into the Big West.

Now they can join their fellow UC brethren and leave behind the Beavs, Wazzou and some University of Utaw

Midway through SDSU's first Big West season you will wonder why SDSU ever left the MWC. You are going to be bored stiff. Is this thread supposed to make me laugh or cry?

Are you trying to tell me that Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball? I've heard Clint Eastwood has Trouble With the Curve Peyronie's disease

3 years ago the Big West wouldn't stand a chance on the recruiting trail against the PAC 12, but the PAC 12 has been so mediocre as of late that it's now conceivable for a team headed to the Big West (SDSU) to win recruiting prizes over the PAC 12. If the Big West is somehow able to land another team that can consistently make it to the post season, they'll be a respectable conference that the top teams won't have to overcome "being in the Big West". It's extremely important for the top teams to schedule tough opponents in the OCC. Long Beach State was a scheduling trailblazer last year. SDSU could be the team that opens the flood gates for other Top flight programs to join the Big West in years to come, especially since the Big West could mean more money. At the end of the day, it's all about money.
