If Darin Johnson signs, I doubt Issac Hamilton wants to come into a situation where he isn't guaranteed a starting job, and vice versa. It's either, or with those guys. I'm not sold on Daniel Hamilton. Dakari Allen and Matt Shrigley are better than him, and we'll still have Winston Shepard. Darin Johnson seems like the better option for us, he's more athletic than Issac, and he'll have built in chemistry with Dakari. Will you all get his name right? It's DAKARAI. Just like it's JAMAAL and not Jamal as I'm sure you'd point out in a millisecond if someone made that mistake...

If Isaac comes to SDSU he is starting no matter who else is signed, he is better than Darin and Shrigley by a pretty wide margin. Both are targets, and the SDSU staff want to add both Darin and Isaac (Daniel for 2014 as well). We might be recruiting right over the top of Shrigley if we get both, unless, like someone said, Isaac truly wants to run the point. Which might not be a bad thing if plays the 2 frosh year and waits in the wings a year behind X and LB. Heck, we might need him to. No guarantee we get a worthwhile PG in the next two recruiting classes.

I can see Shrigley sliding into the Rahon role if he keeps working on improving his shot which is already pretty good...Some instant offense off the bench with an inside game too. He will have a role on this team over the next 4 years.

You're tripping if you think Isaac Hamilton is scared of losing his starting job to either Allen or Johnson. If Johnson commits and it's official for both parties.. that only means Fisher and Bland realize they won't land Hamilton. Hamilton is the main priority for anyone in his top 5.

No, SDSU wants Johnson regardless. As for BBA he has some weird hate for Isaac and Shepard, and a huuuuuuuuge hard on for Jamaal.

People sleep on Shrigley way too much, I honestly think it's because he's white. He's bigger and more athletic than Isaac, and he can shoot the ball. Shepard's offensive game is weak, Dakari is a better player than him. Darin Johnson may be rated below Isaac, but he has a chance to be just as good if not better. Rankings don't mean much to me at all.

Shrig will get his time on the court.

For the 2013-14 season , Aztecs will need guys that can shoot, and score, plus someone to help Spencer and Johnson down low-to replace Stephens. We lose Tapley, Rahon ,and possibly Jamaal. Most of our players that can shoot and score. There is going to be a need for a scorer and a shooter. As of today we are not sure what we will get offensively from Shepard, Polee, JJ, Shrigley or even Johnson . So the staff needs to try to land the best players.

The rest of the roster will be as deep as we've seen in years.

Shrigley jumps higher, but he isnt a better athlete.
