Looks like Victor has been offered by Washington per ASR. Dang. Good for him though. Is Washington keeping tabs on our offers or something?

big update today from 247. They finished ranking our entire class and we now have 10 *** recruits by their rankings. 2 of those who did not get *** are rated by at least one of the other services with ***.

big update today from 247. They finished ranking our entire class and we now have 10 *** recruits by their rankings . . . and the kid most likely to decommit isn't one of them.

In comparison to the other three services, Vaughn is underrated by ESPN and Ricks is underrated by 247Sports. Reasonable minds may differ so I have no problem with that.
However, what's Rivals' excuse? In comparison to the other three services, they have UNDERrated Turner, Phillips, Rosales, Lomax and Noble. My guess is the Rivals guy hasn't seen any of them. I really enjoy the stuff we get from the ASR guys but the rating portion of the Rivals service remains as bad as it was a year ago. That's particularly bad for SDSU since it's Rivals that most folks still pay the greatest attention to. (Insert frown emoticon here.)

We still have a really good class. Victor was a big loss, but this is still a class with lots of talent.

Yeah, not sure whats with these kids that commit and then jump when a "better" offer comes around. I don't hold it against them, but for gods sake, if you're just going to jump ship then why commit? anyhow, that horse has been dead for years, I'm going to keep the bat under the bed from here on out.

Because that offer can be pulled, very often they are after a certain amount of kids commit at a certain position, obviously the elite don't have that problem.

for those who understand the rules. If a University offers a H. S. player a scholarship and the player "verbals ", is the University committed to giving the player a scholarship. But the player may de-commit any time before they sign LOI. The University can withdraw an offer only if the player has not verbally committed .

This is a really good class. A couple more solid commits would round out the best classes of recent years IMO.
