He looked EXACTLY like he did at State. Made some awesome throws 20 yards down the field, made some decent decisions, but blew it when there were some open receivers and opportunities.
Not saying thats a bad thing, I think he looked really good for his first professional action, but fact still remains if he wants to even make 3rd on the depth chart, he's gotta sharpen up his precision. Now if he does that, psshh I think he has the potential to be a REALLY good NFL QB.

Yup, made some throws no one else on the Cards could make, then threw a pic, so he fits right in on the Cards qb chart. Good first outing for him. Hope Kolb's vajayjay is ruptured

State got a lot of pub today during the game. ;D They even brought up Brian Sipe.

exciting for both players. I like the chances of a nice long NFL career for both RL and RH

He looked pretty good until that INT. That was classic rookie QB staring down a WR. That was classic Lindley being slightly off on that throw. He did make some great decisions and threw a couple of great passes. Some were even caught! That drop on that slant may have cost the team a TD.
Overall, he looked better than Bartel. And most likely would've had some buzz around the local media had he not thrown that pick. I'm loving SDSU getting some pub. Would've been nice if they mentioned Sipe as Lindley's QB coach since they were talking about him when Lindley was in.

Ryan's teammates comment on his calmness and demeanor in the huddle, very mature for his age. He knows how to get his guys to rally.
Oldie Out

Just looked at the Box Score and did not realize Lindley got the majority of snaps. 10-21 for 118 yards and one interception. A QB rating of 45.3 isn't going to impress, but this was his first NFL game. scores.espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=320805018
