Now the 60+% who don't like this law have a real chance to get it repealed come this election. A tax is a tax. Thanks SC for putting back in the hands of the voters.

I'm anxious to hear Romney here talking about how bad this decision is. Especially since nearly everyone involved say that Romneycare has been a smashing success.

State issue vs. a fed issue. No comparison imo.

Bah, just a political speech. Still no idea what he wants to "replace" it with. Still waiting Mitt. Please tell me before I vote.

It is now called a "TAX", taxes on all working Americans. That is every single working person will pay, that means that Obama is done. Romney needs to say no more than "Obama just gave you the largest tax increase in American History" Do you want to pay it? If not "VOTE FOR ME!" I see this as a certain landslide victory for all Republicans this November. As the DNC Tweeter would say "Obama is fired Bitches". There is no limit on what can be taxed, behavior and choices can be taxed.

Bah, just a political speech. Still no idea what he wants to "replace" it with. Still waiting Mitt. Please tell me before I vote. Why is there a separate forum for health care anyway? It's not like we discuss diet and fitness here. This is all politics.Didn't this forum start in the Joe bird flu days? Or is it more recent than that?

This is a very dark day for America in my opinion, but obviously many disagree. What this does not do is to make ObamaCare any better. ObamaCare is riddled with inconsistencies and unpleasant unintended consequences. Actually, it has many unpleasant consequences that are totally intended. If I were an older American, I would feel very nervous for this reason; ObamaCare does nothing to contain health care costs, and when that becomes obvious to all, those whose health care costs the most . . . senior citizens . . . are going to be the first to feel the weight of the inevitable government rationing. Yes, if I were an older American, I would feel very nervous today. Oh, that's right, I AM an older American! Thanks a bunch, Mr. Chief Justice. AzWm

Being declared Constitutional is not the same as being declared right or good for the country. They are at work now in Congress at repeal and defunding.

There is very little grandfathered in...if you had a plan in place on 3/23/10 and have made no changes...then you are GF'd...otherwise you are not. And, so you know, grandfathering doesn't even apply to the whole law, most of the provisions take effect whether or not you are GF'd.
Another blow to GF'ing? All the insurance companies are ridding themselves of these policies because they are uninterested in administering 2 types of plans and are just eliminating those GF plans.

There are things in there for older Americans to be grandfathered in...pun intended. ;D Wonderful! How is that going to help my two sons, both in their forties, in another 20 years? AzWm I'll answer that. You sons will enjoy a utopian future. First, they will not have to work another day in their life. They will be laid off. Then coming this January 1st they will become fruitful servants of the newly hired Revenue Officers and then get picked clean with all 21 TAXES that, oh, did you democRats forget to mention this to your constituents? In 20 years they can be sure that they will have that old safety net, social security sans Medicare Parts, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z. And yes, the letter Q was taken from our alphabet in order for all to make a contribution to osamacare. HAM Tax

You're error here is assuming that Pooh has anything of value to offer. Pooh is good for two things - lying about his golf scores and stuffing margaritas down his throat at the 19th hole. Other than that, who gives a $#!+ what he writes? =Bob
