Krugman has become so discredited lately that I am surprised that even Aztec70 would post a link to his drivel. He seems to hav been pretty well respected up till a couple years ago. Now he and his views are toxic.

I can always tell when a conservative sees the truth. They attack it and the messenger.

Here's one thing to keep in mind. Krugman long ago gave up the role of economist and has become merely another flack for a particular partisan view of what the government should do. In case you don't know what that is, here's a hint; Krugman never saw a tax increase or spending increase by government that he did not like!

I assume that the individuals that you post are not partisan flacks for a particular view? Of course, they are not. Why they agree with you. They are by your self-definition right. Anyone that agrees with aztecwilliam is a truth teller and paragon of virtue. Anyone that disagrees is a partisan flack.

Find someone else to worship. He has been shown to be wrong to often lately and is wrong on this.

Oh,and let me add, predictable. Everyone commented on it. To say the opinion and Krugman are wrong is a comment. To expand it a bit and heap more critical comments on what he has become is a bonus. What is it about "Krugman has no credibility" do you not understand?

What is it about "Krugman has no credibility" do you not understand? It's all Boooooooooooooosh's fault. Never mind that the douchebag with the ugly facelift in the House (where spending originates) took over two years before His Majesty came to power (Jan '07). No excuse for Booosh not using the veto pen, though. But, wow, wouldn't the libs have howled if he had.... Geez, I wish he would have had the guts. I would have LOVED to see the hand wringing hyperbole from the left. Garbage like, "starving the kids", "no more free school lunches", "making grandma eat dog food", "record numbers of homeless eating out of dumpsters"... and all the rest of their lying puke.

If there is a problem it is that we all look at the truth from different angles.

Truth is relative depending upon how we look at charts. As long as an effort is made to present accurate information, it is all good.
Now, I do believe that there should be severe punishment meted out for deliberately misleading the public like we see from corrupt political administrations. Any attempt to deceive (that means lie) should be punished by banishment to a deserted island such as San Clemente. Once we eliminate all of those people who think that lying is normal we will have a far better world.

If found guilty in court of deliberately misleading people in order to take money illegally, they should be in prison or whatever suffices in that regard in the future.

Joe, Do you think that Krugman and Geitner should be sent to San Clemente? If found guilty in court of deliberately misleading people in order to take money illegally, they should be in prison or whatever suffices in that regard in the future. With people like Krugman and Geitner, who are either stupid, crooked or both, you would think that that a trial would not be needed.
